Comics are Coming!

This is going to be our last "family" update because I don't want this to drag on forever for everyone but I feel it's important to put this to rest.
JJ ended up not going into Foster Care, instead his biological mother took him in at the last minute. Apparently she immediately bought him an Xbox (I'm guessing as a reward for his outstanding behavior) and he immediately logged in with his account we created for him while he was with us and went on a spending spree with our credit card that was still stored in his profile. Luckily we were able to get the charges reversed.
Even with stuff like this it's important to remember he's still a kid with a lot of challenges ahead of him. All we can do is hope he gets the help he didn't accept from us. We truly wish the best for him because everyone deserves happiness.
As part of our healing process, we're getting back into our routine and I'm happy to say we've begun working on comics again. Thank you to everyone for being patient as we worked our way through this latest life challenge. It was without a doubt the toughest thing I've personally gone through in my life and that's saying a lot. I don't think anyone is prepared for a situation like this.
Thank you for standing with us and an extra special thank you to everyone who commissioned Simon for artwork. It's been a tremendous help towards our goal to save our house. Thank you so much for that as well!

So Sorry for that latest scandal, but I'm glad you got the money reversed and returned - that's always a relief (speaking from experience). Glad your comics will be coming back soon, can't wait to see ... and I look forward to setting some time and money to commission Simon for some great pictures soon too! I hope JJ finds his way, whatever way that might be, and I hope the two of you keep sight of yourselves through this difficult time and lean on each other when you need to. 2022-02-11 00:07:58 +0000 UTCIt was definitely a "revenge" move on us. Since he's left he's been telling everyone we've been emotionally and physically abusing him. Luckily everyone who knows us knows he was spoiled by us. Maybe that was part of the problem :(
