Thursday Update

One of the most challenging things about providing work directly to the people who support it is trying to find the balance of letting them know what affects our comic delivery and keeping things private so we're not oversharing. I think as a long habit I tend to err on keeping things private too much because I don't want us to seem like we're hot messes (we are haha).
So in the spirit of being more open; the reason the comic is late is because we had technical issues on Friday and then on Sunday Simon woke up with a searing pain down his right side. This is from his life-long battle with back/spine pain. He's seen many doctors and has many treatments but they don't always work reliably so sometimes he just has to wait it out as it heals. He's doing great, but it's limiting the time he can sit up in front of the computer to draw. The comic from last week is almost done, it's just gonna take a little longer.
Overall Simon is improving daily and will be back to full health soon. This is just one of the life challenges we gotta push through. We appreciate your understanding and your support and we'll have new stuff ASAP! Big hug!

I'm giving you money to help support your work, not as payment for a comic every week, a VN update every month or whatever. Stuff happens and means that your work gets delayed, no worries. It happens to us all. Good to hear Simon is getting better.
