Twelve years ago I drove to a farm in Montrose, Colorado to pick up the most adorable bundle of fur I'd ever seen. I'd been preparing for years for it. I even had him named already; Magnus. Over those twelve years, it's been an adventure and it was amazing to have such a great friend by my side the entire time. Magnus was funny, stubborn, and always good to people. He really was my best buddy. This morning we had to say goodbye to him. While we all knew it was coming, it doesn't make it any easier to know he won't be here with us anymore to play with his stuffed animals, chew his favorite bones, or howl along with the rest of the family. While it's incredibly sad, we know it's a part of life and we'll see him again eventually. Time will heal our hearts and our memories will be stacked with all the fun times we had with such a giant goofball. For now though, we grieve the loss of companionship from such an amazing animal. We love you and won't ever forget you.
Thank you to everyone for being supportive over the past few months while we did our best to give Magnus the life he deserved. He will live on in our comics so we can honor him the way he deserves.
