Q&A: Have You Made Plans for the Comic Long Term?

Have you made plans for the comic in the long term? Also, How much has the comic changed your lives from the start to currently?

Hey Willie!

Honestly we're pretty surprised to be here in our 6th year making the comic. It seems not too long ago we were struggling to find an audience and were ready to accept it as a failure. We've even written up our final thank you and everything. So to be where we are today is pretty awesome.

Now, as far as long term plans, if you mean story wise, yes, there's always a dozen or so storylines stewing in my head. It can actually get a little frustrating sometimes because we want to deliver so much faster than we're capable of to get to the next storyline faster! It's a good thing though as I find the longer I can think on subjects and characters, the more concrete the idea comes when it's finally time to execute.

If you mean long term plans for the comic as far as ambition, we still love the idea of an animated series but that's an incredibly tall ask. We're just going to keep working hard on the comic and hope we either get enough support from fans to investigate animation on our own or we build enough interest to be approached by an established development house.

As for the comic changing our lives, it's honestly been life changing. We've not only built a platform for telling stories and sharing life experiences, the support we've gotten from our Patreon friends has literally allowed us to be in a position to keep our little family together. While it's been tough, it would have been impossible without that support. So yeah, the comic really does mean a lot of things in a lot of ways and we're incredibly glad we stuck to it and even more grateful for the support we've gotten over the years <3
