Comic Delay

Well, despite our computers being pretty darn reliable for the last 7 years, we've hit a bump in the road. Simon's machine crashed and I'm working on getting it back up and running. Unfortunately this means there's going to be a delay with the latest comic. We'll get it out as soon as we can but we wanted you all to know what's going on. So we got the adapter to plug our Wacom (drawing) tablet into the replacement PC because the video card port wasn't quite lined up with the tablet pins. Well, now we've learned there's two types of connection: DVI and a DVI-D. Now we're ordering another adapter. Fingers crossed this second adapter works without a hitch. Who doesn't have a love/hate relationship with technology? ;)

I forgot how many things I have to sign into. Get some technology goblin repellant spray! And let me borrow it when you're done...

2019-07-25 15:00:20 +0000 UTCWe've been very lucky to have reliable computers but it was bound to happen sooner or later. We work almost entirely out of Dropbox so we don't have to worry about losing anything. The time sink is the reformat/system check, reinstalling all the hardware/software, then letting everything sync back up.
