WIP Wednesday: October’s NSFW illustrated one-shot

Hi folks! I’ve been doing a bit of work on this months NSFW illustrated one-shot, I wanted to share the WIP with you all.

I’ve started doing little thumbnail sketches for each of my pieces, rather than sketching across the entire canvas as I usually would. I just find it easier to really focus on the proportions and the overall shape of the piece when it’s scaled down like this! Often I’ll finish laying down the flats, scale everything out, and realise the whole ’flow’ is just wrong? Or an arm or hand is too big and I didn’t really notice until everything was tied in? But thumbnails make it easier to spot those sorts of things early, especially if I’ve got a reference to work from.

And speaking of! A few folk mentioned wanting to see the references that I use. Usually, I compile a few difference references, like picking the legs from one and the top half from another, but I found this particular reference and it’s just such good DKBK vibes I thought I’d just use this pose as it was. Because it’s pretty 🥺

ANYWAY! The one-shot will be based on Deku getting horny over Kacchan’s Halloween costume because, I mean, who don’t?
