BTW I don't think the critic really gets BTS. He said their messages are simple and you hear it a lot from other artists, but he doesn't get that it has a different impact bc it is BTS's own experience and they say it in a skillful way that breaks your heart. Their impact is stronger than any other I've ever heard. Don't know if the critic really got that.

This was so interesting!! Loved seeing emotions in your expressions, it just shows how it's almost impossible to talk about their songs without looking back at your own life- it's that much connected!! The choices make sense from a K-ARMY perspective, I have a feeling the members would pick them very similarly! A few month ago I did the same impossible task, listed all their songs, went through the lyrics... it took me 2 days :)) I also went back to 2013, remembering how their songs helped me personally along these 8 years. I couldn't stop at 5 ... so I made a top 8. 1-Spring day 2-Young forever 3-Epiphany 4-WABP: the Eternal 5-Black swan 6-Louder than bombs 7-Sea 8-Answer:Love myself

I am so glad Epiphany was on the list and his explanation for why he chose Dynamite was so interesting.

"BS&T" Jimin I think got A LOT of people into BTS. It did for me. His look and the choreo and everything..it was HIS era for sure! That song STILL slaps and I believe it was ahead of its time and didn't get the proper recognition it deserves. Its a masterpiece IMO. An honorable mention from me is "I Need U" as I feel like its still so good and catchy and I just love it and feel it was a big turning point for them as a group (their 1st music show win etc). "Spring Day" queen deserved to be on the list and fits perfectly at #1! Although when I found out from armys' YT videos about the Sewol Ferry accident and everything and showed how BTS had incorporated so much symbolism about it in the MV, I often cry now when I hear the song, because I think of those children and people and the injustice of it all and everything. I'm glad you also mentioned the disaster/accident. Thank you for the detailed video!! I'm interested in seeing Danny's top 5! I know "Persona" is going to be on there as he said it was like his favorite song all that year(2019).

I am so happy he picked Epiphany! I feel that it is a well-loved song in the fandom, but no one really puts it at their Top 5, or Top 10 even. This was the song that got me to leave a very toxic and abusive relationship. I was watching the MV one day (with English subs on) and every word just resonated. “So I loved me.” Hope he gets featured in more videos. Really loved his explanations! :)

I really like his explanation for the choice of each song. I can only imagine choosing 5 would be torture. Great job!
