First of all, I feel a huge thank you is in order to each and every one of my backers. My Patreon has reached $1000 per month! This is utterly mind blowing for me. When I started on Patreon back in October 2016, I scarcely imagined it would generate a few hundred dollars a month, if I were lucky, and allow me to keep pursuing the hobby I love. 9 months later, and I am so humbled by your support that it honestly makes me feel a little overwhelmed!!
With all this in mind, I have decided to introduce another goal for the first time in a while. If my Patreon is able to reach $2000 per month, I can make animating and producing videos my full time job and perhaps double the number of videos and art I make in a month. I know that seems a long way off yet, but I am feeling inspired and humbled by the support I have received so far.. Currently, i'm not at the stage where I can quit my other employment and still be able to meet my living expenses, and I feel like my Patreon output sometimes gets a raw deal as I get busier. I often worry and stress about finishing videos quickly for you guys, sometimes my progress is slower than I would like it to be. So, the real solution seems simple... pursue the thing I love and enjoy the most! :D
I'll also be posting some preview images from all upcoming videos today, so you guys have some idea of what is ahead this month and next.
