Otter Chat: What I’m up to
Added 2023-02-09 04:00:03 +0000 UTCSo! This Friday’s new chapter is going to come with a lot of extra effort. Among other things, in preparation for In The Mirror to be published, I have had to go through and edit a lot of names. Had to change a bunch of names to get away from the OGL, for example. When it goes up, the chapters I already have here are going to be edited to their revised form.
This is final-ish. Nothing is set in stone until the book publishes, of course. However, after two editors, three major Beta readers, and me taking multiple laps through fixing every error I could find? It’s close. Chapters will still be going up here at the same rate until publication, and double-rate once it goes and gets a chance to sell (new chapter every week).
As I say this, those with WIP access just got to see the first chapter of In The Mirror Book Two go up. Setting this up to be a wild ride of its own, I have enough plot threads and loose ideas looking for homes that there is plenty to go around.
