I don’t know if you’ve seen it yet or if it’s what you’re looking for but Heavenly Delusion is pretty good. It’s a well paced 12 episode sci fi adventure about some kids trying to survive in a post apocalyptic future. Highly recommend if you’re just tryna turn off your brain and watch something fun.

2024-07-23 07:57:09 +0000 UTCAction-adventure recs? - If you like a bit of comedy, Shangri-La Frontier is dope - dances with the isekai subgenre, but not in an overdone kind of way. Only has one season out though, unfortunately. - On the subject of isekai, if you want a good manhwa that's dark and gritty, check out Hero Has Returned/The Warrior Returns. It's a Korean comic that takes the isekai genre, turns it on it's head and... well. Just check it out and see for yourself. (Protip: if you get into it, but feel like the story is getting TOO bleak as it goes - and lemme tell ya, it gets *bleak* - you gotta hit chapter 61 and see how you feel after that. It changed everything for me and hooked me right back in.) - I hear Kaiju #8 is FIRE and it's been on my to-do-list basically since the manga came out (I'm a kaiju fan, after all) but I have not checked it out for myself, anime or manga. - ...damn, that's all I got off the top of my head. If I think of more, I'll comment again!
