Normally, Aaron transforms to demon form when he gets too excited, but the change pushes out his consciousness (like traditional werewolf rules). So in the same way that Assassin’s choker keeps him in human form, Aaron’s ring now does the same thing, so he can choose if and when he wants to switch.
