Save the Day Program, once again. (Gundam IBO/Satisfactory SI): Chapter 6

Looking at the projection made by ADA, I went through its data before nodding.

“This will do, hopefully.”

“While the journey itself is fundamentally unsafe, I have designed it according to FICSIT standard, so there is no need for concern, Administrator.”

I smiled wryly at the somewhat prideful words of the AI as I looked at the hastily put together structure blueprint in front of me.

It has been an entire year since I discovered that I have been stranded in a Gundam universe along with my companion. A year where I tried my best to establish myself in some way and found a little bit of success.

Now, my factory covers the size of a continent and is probably visible from orbit if anyone bothers to look for it. Something that is unlikely given the turmoil that various forces across this solar system are facing.

However, despite all this growth in size, I have still not managed to find a way to truly get off this planet.

Turns out, the materials required to create the support station in orbit and the space elevator itself are nearly impossible to find on this planet. This meant that there is no way for me to rebuild the my ship and get going towards the inner parts of the solar system like I had originally wanted.

Thankfully, ADA has managed to come up with a new plan, a plan that is very dubious, but given her success rate, the only option that I have yet to explore.

In theory, the plan is simple.

We just need to mimic how our ancestors did things in the 20th century and how we did things in the 21st century.

We will calculate the orbits of the planet we need to reach, look for the optimal launch window, and then hurl ourselves into space at precise speeds, allowing us to reach our destination.

At least, that is the theory.

In practical terms, there are many variables that can throw off our plans in many, many disastrous ways.

That is why I am leaving all of this stuff to ADA, since she was built for tasks like this.

And as expected, the AI delivered on the promise.

The launch vehicle that we are using is a modified FICSIT Freighter that is now equipped with Thermal Propulsion systems instead of its usual thrusters, which only help it reach orbit.

Now, with the new thrust systems, it is capable of limited space flight.

Additionally, ADA also modified its internals and removed the cargo bay. Instead, she installed a cabin similar to a Drop Pod within it with a stasis system built into it.

The plan is to launch the Freighter at precisely the right time so that the Freighter would drift towards our destination at the exact time when the planet is projected to orbit closer to Pluto.

The target in question? Jupiter. Specifically, it's the Europa colony.

From what we managed to find out through our research, the entire Jupiter sphere is focused on mineral, ore, and goods trading. This means that they will be the best place for someone like me to start gathering intel and searching for a way to integrate into their society.

Of course, ADA will not stay idle as I sleep during our journey.

She will be focusing on gathering intel on the best place for us to establish our presence.

Simply put, I am putting ADA in charge of doing what she does best, to establish a business of our own based on the trade of resources that we mine and produce on Pluto.

Of course, I am not naïve enough to think that everything will go smoothly. That is why I have also instructed ADA to work on another secret project.

Corporate Espionage.

Another thing that ADA was practically built for.

This time, her target is to steal as much information and blueprints as she can without being caught.

There are three reasons why I want her to do this.

One, we need a way to blend in with the locals, which means that we will have to disguise our advanced technology with things that these people will recognize as something common.

Two, we need ships that would not stand out like sore thumbs when we eventually establish our own trade across this system.

Three, ADA did not have any blueprints for proper weapon systems to defend ourselves with.

Sure, we have the blueprints to produce nukes if we want to, and most of our advanced tech can be modified to work as weapons, but we don’t have purpose-built weapon systems, which is something that cannot be left as a blind spot for the sake of our safety.

“Losing yourself in your mind is a symptom of exhaustion, Administrator. I recommend a few hours of sleep.”

ADA’s words brought me back to reality.

Shaking my head in exasperation, I answered the AI with a smile.

“There is no need. I was just thinking about our plans going forward. Are you sure you can steal those plans without being tracked?”

“Of course.”

“Then, there is nothing more to think about. Let’s get to work.”

Hopefully, this won’t prove to be a mistake.
