The Monster of Kaon (Transformers Si): Chapter 15
Added 2025-03-30 08:43:58 +0000 UTC"He did what??"
I winced at the enraged shout from none other than Chela as she rose from her slumbering position, rising to her full height as her optics flared in response to her anger.
Yeah, this is the kind of response I expected when I told her exactly what Emissary did to me.
But, what is really spooking me is how Windblade looks vindicated. Her faceplate was set in a vindictive smile as she no doubt imagined the painful demise of the old Titan that is now stuck around that remote star.
Am I really that bad of an influence on her? Shit! I might have to tell the Mistress to ban Windblade from any kind of adventure or duties for the foreseeable future once we get back. She definitely needs time away from stressful things, and most importantly, me, so that she can regain her normal personality.
"That stupid lunk of Cybermatter, how dare he harm someone under my protection! Looks like he has forgotten what it means to offend me. I'll need to pay a visit to him personally one of these days. You did well, young Cityspeaker, disabling his locomotion systems. He cannot run from me this time."
"Of course! There was no way I was going to let him off that easy after what he did."
Windblade, child, you are really scaring me right now.
The Mistress will kill me for corrupting you like this.
Fuck! This is a mess!
"Be that as it may, I think we need to wrap this task up, Lady Chela. However, I think you would agree that I need some compensation for what I went through at the hands of that insane Titan."
The space turkey looked at me with a dubious look before nodding.
"While I think you already got the additional compensation you are talking about in the form of an Artifact of the Thirteen, I understand that it may not be what you want. Instead of one set of knowledge, I'll give you three sets instead. Along with the location of the Forge of Solus Prime. And, as an apology, I'll even give you the full knowledge on how a Space Bridge works along with its construction method."
That, is actually a very, very, generous apology, especially from Chela of all people. Aside form the Forge which is no longer of any use to me except for maybe upgrading my already ridiculously powerful weaponry, the rest of her offer is extremely valuable for someone like me.
Which makes me very suspicious of her intentions.
"I accept. Can we begin right now? I need to get back to Caminus as soon as I can so that I can have the blacksmiths run diagnostics on my body."
A body that is extremely similar to the original body that I was born with, except for a few cosmetic changes here and there.
I still remember the sheer shock that I felt when I looked at my reflection on the internal walls of the ship during our journey back.
Except for the huge viewport on my chest that showed the T-Cog of Amalgamous Prime, made of transparent metal that I could turn opaque with just a thought, the rest of my body is completely identical to my original body, except for the coloration since my original body had white and gold coloration in contrast to the multiple dark colorations that adorned my right now.
"Of course. But first, the Blade?"
I nodded at her request. Under her hopeful stare, I pulled the cloth covering the massive transparent container, revealing the Cyber Caliber, one of the three blades that were once wielded by Nexus Prime.
…You know, now that I think about it, the only Artifacts of the Thirteen that are still unaccounted for are the Blades of Time, belonging to Vector Prime, the Enigma of Combination along with the other two blades belonging to Nexus Prime, and the Ember Stone belonging to Quintus Prime.
The Requiem Blaster is at the center of Junkion, I personally saw it during the Golden Age when I was traveling throughout the galaxy. The Star Saber should be on Earth if my human memories are to be believed, along with the Matrix which should be with Orion. According to Amalgamous Prime, his Scythe was destroyed during his confrontation with Megatronus Prime. In a similar way, The Creation Lathe was also destroyed when Solus Prime died.
The Liegian Darts, belonging to Liege Maximo, are still with Emissary.
The Lenses of Alchemist Prime are now with Windblade in the form of her new optics and Amalgamous Prime's T-Cog is with me.
As for the Triptych Mask, belonging to Onyx Prime, and the Chimera Stone, belonging to Micronus Prime, they were destroyed when they were used for the creation of the Well of Sparks on Cybertron. After all, it is thanks to the Triptych Mask's power, which allows the well to scan the entire universe for all forms of life, that Cybertronians are born with such a diverse range of body structures while the Chimera Stone, an object that works as a conduit for all forms of energy, powered the Well itself by drawing power from Primus's spark.
"..At last, my wish will be granted."
"Hey! Wait! At least let us get clear of the splash zone-"
My words fell on deaf ears as the stupid space turkey shredded the container without even waiting for us to get clear, directly clutching the blade with her talons.
Knowing exactly what that blade was capable of, I wasted no time in carrying Windblade's body under my arm like a sack of potatoes before running for the exit of the cave.
There is no way I am risking my newly regained body for Chela's stupidity.
I am really starting to think that all Titans have a few screws loose in their brain module.
"Thank you, Airazor, Tigatron, and you too, Blackarachnia, for all of your help."
"Of course, Thread-Weaver, I am merely a tool of fate that guides your path."
I smiled at Blackarachnia and shook her hand, ignoring the weird way she always spoke. Tigatron, the ever-stoic bot, simply nodded at my words.
Airazor, on the other hand, was much more expressive than her spark-mate, which was very evident with the way she was hugging Windblade tightly and refusing to let go.
"Can't you guys stay for some more time? I have so much to show to Windblade on Eukaris."
"Oh! Can we?"
I ignored the adorable look that Windblade sent towards me and shook my head.
"Unfortunately, we cannot delay it anymore. We'll have to get back to Caminus quickly so that we can have the time to prepare for Lady Chela's arrival and for the construction of the Space Bridge on Caminus."
Once again, I ignored the pouting look from both the femme and turned back to Blackarachnia.
"Speaking of, is she still sulking?"
While Blackarachnia tried to suppress it, she still failed to hide her amusement at my words.
"Indeed. She is still throwing a tantrum and is still trying to use the Cyber Caliber in any way possible. Although, after the initial failure, I have my doubts about its powers working on her."
And wasn't that a surprise?
Turns out, without its companion blades, the Cyber Caliber by itself was incapable of turning a Titan into smaller components as Chela desired. It still worked just fine on regular Cybertronians since it reacted immediately to my presence just like it did to every other bot that dared to approach it.
According to Chela, it was a problem of energy expenditure. The Blade, by itself, did not have enough of the anomalous energy that made up the Artifacts of the Thirteen, to divide and entire Titan.
Of course, she immediately tried to have me search for the other two blades, but I firmly refused her request, even when she made the deal very lucrative and hard to resist.
There is no way I am willing to go through that kind of trauma again.
In the end, Chela gave up on convincing me and started tinkering with the Cyber Caliber, hoping to make it powerful enough to fulfill her desires, an endeavor that we both knew to be futile, yet I did not stop her.
It was none of my business what she did with her time as long as she upheld her end of the bargain and constructed the Space Bridge on Caminus as she promised.
Granted, I could easily do that myself, thanks to the fact that I received full knowledge of how to create a Space Bridge from her, but it is the principle of the promise that matters, not the end result. Since she made a promise, she must fulfill it by all means.
Alongside the Space Bridge technology, I also gained knowledge of Ancient Cybertronian Coding, a coding language that was derived from the language of the Primes, the very same language that made up the original source code of the Thirteen Primes and their internal structures, just like my new body.
I also used my compensation to get knowledge on the process of Cybermatter creation for the sake of improving my Synthetic Energon experiments and the knowledge for recreating the Ancient Warp Drives. An advanced and powerful version of the Warp Drives in use by Cybertronians across the galaxy at this time. The Ancient Warp Drives empower the Titans and their ability to travel thousands of light years in a matter of a decade at most compared to the Warp Drives that we use today that has a higher travel speed but extremely short range and massive Energon drain compared to what the Titans had.
Originally, I wanted to know if the Trans-Warp drives existed in this universe since I remember hearing about it after my rebirth on Cybertron. However, the moment I brought it up, Chela shut up and insisted heavily that I never speak of it ever again unless I wanted to turn her into an enemy.
I'll have to search for information about this at a later date since I am definitely not getting any answers from her about it.
With a shake of my head, I turned back to Windblade and smiled, my faceplate finally allowing me to show expressions now that I had regained my original body from before the Empurata.
"Come on, Windblade, we need to get back home."
"Fine! Bye Airazor. Once the Space Bridge is complete I'll visit you again!"
"I look forward to it, Windblade!"
I smiled at the interaction and headed into the ship, setting my destination to Caminus.
I really need to take some time to relax during the period in which the Space Bridge is to be constructed. However, once it is done, it is time for me to head towards the Earth for a quick stop, search for our old base, and head back home, to Cybertron.
I have a Prime to punch in the face, after all.
