The Maniac of DxD (Highschool dxd insert/ semi-crack): Chapter 11

I took out my phone and started recording the glorious fight taking place in front of me.

Suppressing my Touki and presence to the absolute limit while using my illusions (which were apparently based on Senjutsu according to old man Baraquiel, who knew?) to keep myself hidden, I watched the two Ultimate-class behemoths go ham, thinking that no one was around.

One of the beings, a colossal serpent the size of a large building, with a humanoid upper body and serpent lower body, clashed with a creature that was as large as a cow, with the body of a tiger and silvery wings of an avian.

It would be a comical sight to see such a small creature clash with such a massive being if not for the fact that I knew the identity of these two beings and their history that spans as long as people have existed on this side of the world.

The serpent is none other than Zhu Long, the dragon of time and seasons, also known as the Dragon of Zhu, who lives on the supernatural mountain called Mount Zhu that continuously shifts between realms.

The tiger, on the other hand, is an equally legendary being, if slightly weaker since he doesn’t have such OP concepts associated with his existence.

Qiong Qi, the tiger with the wings of a bird who is said to love instigating wars and enjoys the suffering of lesser beings. Humans happen to be their favorite prey due to how easy it is to instigate fights between them.

Due to how long he has been alive and his constant instigation of wars across the world, it is said that he has gained a minor aspect of War and Death due to constantly being in the vicinity of such concepts.

Now, why am I so interested in capturing the fight between these two behemoths that can easily kill me with a single blow?

For memes, likes, and subscribers in the Supernatural Youtube, or as it is usually called, STube.

All in all, a typical day in my travels which double as a source of income for me, despite having enough money to put a few countries' GDP to shame.

I mean, there is a reason why I have nearly five million subs on my channel and various sponsorship deals lined up when I have the time to do so after my training.

It is because I do what others don’t have the balls to do, which is to jump into dangerous situations and provide juicy gossip across the supernatural world.

Keeping the phone which has an enhanced camera towards the two beings, I simultaneously activated my front camera and started a live stream on my channel.

“Hey guys and gals~ welcome to another episode of Supernatural Gossip with yours truly! Today, we have some live news that might play a big role in the upheaval within the Chinese Pantheon. Oh! Before I forget, if anyone can get in touch with the Jade Emperor, or better yet, Buddha-sama, please don’t! I don’t want one of you guys to ruin my fun like you did last time with that fight between the Barbatos clan’s brat and the six-winged Angel that he tried to capture.”

I chuckled and felt excited to see that my comment section is as lively as ever with thousands of comments and requests, but the comments from those who pay me the most are being sent straight to the top for me to read.

“Alright, so, I am currently hiding near the entrance to Mount Zhu which has manifested in the Jiangsu province this time around. I wanted to gather a few of the legendary herbs here to sell to a few clients but ended up stumbling across a juicy gossip, see for yourself!”

I activated the audio function, allowing the rather massive strings of curses being hurled both ways to be heard by my audience.

“且汝亦當受辱！汝此蛇人異種，當真女媧造汝何思邪 ?”(-And fuck you too!! you overgrown serpent-human hybrid, honestly, what was Nu Wa thinking when she created you!?)

“汝又如何？汝此虎妖，徒生雙翼，便自視不凡乎？汝以為得孫悟空青睞，賴百年前助戰蠢龍王，便能與吾平分秋色邪？” (And what about you!? you overgrown tiger? just because you are an abomination that grew a pair of wings you think you are all that?? you think you are powerful enough to fight me on equal grounds now that you have won the favor of Sun Wukong thanks to your help fighting that stupid Dragon King a century ago?)

“汝何人也，竟敢論吾能否與汝一戰？汝以為武者畏汝與汝山，便自以為強邪？汝之力，連毘棘羅殘片之一亦不如，而今彼猶受封於神器，為人族所用！” (Who the fuck are you to decide if I am worthy or not to fight a worm like you?? you think you are strong since most Martial artists stay away from you and your mountain?? you are not even as strong as one fragment of Vritra even as he is right now, sealed away in a weapon for the humans to use!!)

I chuckled and muted the audio again as the two powerful beings continued to hurl and escalate their insults to something very inappropriate to be heard on live broadcast.

[LazyS: Worse yet, they have manifested in the Jiangsu province, if the humans end up getting caught in their fight, it will be a diplomatic disaster for the Chinese Pantheon, especially since those guys work very closely with the Chinese government.]

[MgirlL: You are telling me? I already have a headache just imagining such a scenario.]

I shook my head and continued speaking while slowly moving sideways, making sure not to reveal my presence.

As I moved slowly towards the entrance of Mount Zhu, intending to head deeper while these two fought, I continued speaking.

“As you guys heard, looks like there is a very juicy incident here that has instigated this fight between these two legendary beings”

“But, the really important thing is that Mount Zhu is currently unguarded. You know what this means?”

I chuckled and slowly shook my head, wanting to deny the proposal like I always do with this person.

But my chat took care of it for me so I continued moving deeper into the mountain while keeping the camera on the two who have now come to blows already.

I glared at the chat which started spamming laughing emojis while MgirlL stayed silent, making it very clear that they felt very guilty for what happened last time.

Seriously, it was such a fun time.

The heir of the Barbatos clan, one of the seventy-two pillars, captured a female Angle with six wings with the help of his father, a powerful Ultimate-class devil, hoping to turn her into his servant and his plaything.

It was a very thrilling event that I was covering live on my channel while eating popcorn, waiting for the inevitable fallout of such a brutal fight between the angel and the devils.

However, my fun was ruined when the four satans showed up out of nowhere and directly threw me out of the Underworld.

I later learned from my sources that they were tipped off about the incident by one of my subscribers. The Angel was given some serious compensation and the Barbatos heir was directly killed to appease the Angel faction. Not like it mattered much since the Barbatos patriarch has many children so he does not lack a suitable heir.

But the thing that peeved me is that one of my subscribers outed my presence in the underworld despite knowing that It took a lot of financial and physical effort to smuggle myself into that realm thanks to my banned status.

That is why, I have to reiterate this so many times on the feed.

This is the golden chance to get my hands on a few rare supernatural herbs of the Chinese Pantheon that they jealously guard with their lives, especially Zhu Long who regards these herbs as more valuable than his own wealth.

I wonder what expression he will make when he comes back from his fight, only to find that his mountain has been cleared of all useful supernatural herbs with a signboard that has a picture of a middle finger.

I grinned as I imagined that scenario in my mind as my chat once again exploded with crying Emojis.

Once again I chuckled and continued moving until I finally arrived at a location that was thick with fog made of spiritual energy.
