The unnamed Keep (plans)

So, first of all, please forgive my poor artistry. I am utterly shit at drawing. As you can see.

So first things first...There will be two rings of walls (long rectangular blue bits) with with gatehouses, towers etc with three main baileys (over the centuries, more baileys will be added) .

The first Bailey will be home to royal guards and guard posts with plans to have a small academy there for future royal guards. The Blacksmiths and other workers who are critical to certain productions that require dragonfire or Targ assistance (i.e. Elamaeri steel production) will be housed there too. Eventually. Presently they are a little way out from the base of the mountain, close enough to the city.

The second Bailey will be home to servants and their families and the family of the guardsmen. This includes general household servants but also the likes of the hound trainers, Dragon keepers, cooks, etc etc. Aegon plans to create generational families who have at least one member of their family serving his family directly.

Also, on the other side of the mountain, there will be sheep sherds, homes of sheep herders and pig sties who directly feed the dragons. Around this part, there will also be a small farm meant to be able to supplement the fortress in worst case scenario but that is future expansion.

Presently, the requirement of creating an aquaduct that feeds directly into the area will take a greater priority for Aegon but eventually it will allow for a very small farm once it is prepared.

The third Bailey will be home to the Targs alone. This will be where the children will be raised together before they leave for academies in the city or whatever.

The purple is where the Keep will be built.

The green is the entrance and exit of the dragon stables. The green rectangular bit is the landing/take off part of the stables.

Estimated time of completion of major works (excluding farm, and other stuff)....20 years from 123 AC onwards. The Keep is however expected to finish by 128 AC.
