It reflects/feeds off of the emotions of the material world which can form into Warp entities (daemons, Chaos Gods etc). It was initially pretty benign, but millions of years of mass galactic genocide and suffering made it into a daemon infested hell. Psykers are 40K magicans who essentially draw power from this hellscape. It takes a lot of effort and training to do so because every time you are at great risk of demonic possession or worse.

Could you explain to me how it works and how it relates to magic. From my reading it feels more like it resembles the Force from Star Wars excepts there are god like entities in the warp, but I have little understanding how the warp actually works, what powers it grants and how Warhammer magic work. If you could explain it would be appreciated

Basically he was a total bro and got some benefits from it. 3) yes, Viserys in the OTL didn't mind Daemon being a pain in the arse cos Daemon had far more detractors than he did those who looked favourably towards him. Aegon isn't Daemon OTL. He is being compared to the Conqueror all the time and Viserys hates that comparison without measure. 4) If it turns like he has to react, it'll become apparent to everyone that Elamaerys is untouchable. 5) he has no idea yet. Really, its part of his biggest problem because he doesn't how severe the consequences will be

Aegon is the first but the others after him will make strides based on his learnings...including a great deal about the nature of the universe. Jaehaerys would have forced compliance years ago (when Aegon was still in Corinth) to avoid this disconnection. And yes, Viserys being an ineffectual ruler is a problem although in this case, he has Daemon to use as his beating stick.

Edit: Also, the real poison pill of Aegon’s response is that, if it becomes widely known, it will reveal that Visarys lied about Aegon acting in his name and with his blessing. That will make him look even weaker than he already looks, which is very weak indeed.

He has the mindset I am king it means everyone does/ follow what I want. He is similar in this mindset to Joffrey from the main series but without the cruelty. Remember what Tywin said you really think a crown gives you power? Out of all the kings he is the most similar to Aenys. The only way he kept peace was because Daemon actually loved him and would not have rebelled against him. Also he had a council that did most of the actual work in keeping peace, while king v just played with legos

Is Misaragon going to get bigger quick? Like Drogon. I feel like whatever as happened to Aegon is now affecting Misaragon cause of how much he’s eating and whatever cosmic magic is going on is going increase his size power and magic. 3. Damn Viserys really salty. But then again in the last chapter Daemon did say that Viserys loves his bubble/safe place which Aegon popped. 4. Aegon should create a Doctrine similar to the Monroe Doctrine for Elamaerys. He should announce it at Kings Landing for the lords to understand that this land is not for them but for his people. 5. Man I wonder how he will get out of the Children of the forest and old gods agreement. Thank you for the chapter can’t wait for future ones!

I am hoping that you will reveal to us all fully how you believe the magic in the world of ASOIAF works. Still for not I am very happy to know that Aegon is for all intent and purposes a Firebender aand can create and control fire. I hope you will reveal to us all how magic works in Planetos by the end of the story. It looks like Aegon has plans within plans, if not for the existence of Elamaerys, which most of us readers suspected you were going to have Aegon find land in the West, I would have loved the idea of Aegon and his branch of House Targaryen revitalizing and recreating the Valyrian Freehold and restoration of Valyria using magic. That would have been another feat to thrump all other feats. I do not envy Vaemond and his group of envoys when they deliver Aegon's response to Viserys letter. Aegon literally telling Viserys to shove his offer up his arse is going to cause a lot of issues in Westeros and will really start fanning the fire against Viserys being the Head of House Targaryen. I really look forward to seeing the confrontations between the sons of Baelon Targaryen when it finally happens, especially when Aegon has made it clear that he does not view Viserys as his King nor does he recognise any authority that Viserys claims to have over him. I don't think Viserys is going to take Aegon's answer very well.

2024-08-01 00:00:33 +0000 UTCQuick question I know Aegon had daemons illegitimate daughter picked up and brought to elemaris, will he do the same in case Aegon ii has his future illegitimate kids and will it be kind of a depressing family tradition where Aegon’s branch of the family keep picking up the illegitimate children of the Westeros side because they either do not know or care because aegon ii I believe had 2 illegitimate children in the books and i think in the HOTD because it would help diversify the family bloodline and raise them their way but ultimately it would be the kind thing to do for family.

Damn, Vaemond being salty that people don't kiss his boots because he's a lord was really funny. Really just shows how alien mutual respect is to the eyes of lords. Viserys once again shows his interest to win the 'Worst Targaryen King' Award.

He is literally the biggest fuckup in the history of Westeros with his weakness to act and strike at others because they know what needs to be done.
