At present they're more focused on conservation. Illos at present is rather stale when it comes to animals in the open excwpt for a few magical insects and harmless mammals. I'm not sure yet how much ill introduce more dangerous animals in illos proper...particularly dragons. Atticus ability to see magical frequencies of all kinds, even the frequency that animals operate in is going to be a factor but i might actually consider using it as a plot line. I was going to introduce Fila and Seraya at some point anyway but I like the angle of familiars being more common.

2022-10-09 20:28:10 +0000 UTCwith the in more depth introduction of the magical creatures I wonder what kind of relationship will they have with the magicals of Illios is it going to be a familiar kind of relationship like Atticus and his thunderbird? I could see that starting to being a part of their culture as the young magicals would want to emulate their hero Atticus and would like to also have a familiar of their own and instead of having pets the magicals of Illios would have familiars that they would share a special bond with it would also be really cool to have an eagle squirrel instead of a rat, cough "Sorry Ron" cough. And instead of being so separate from each other it would foster a friendly relationship and instead of them just being there it would be nice see them appear more often in story.
