Various Updates
Added 2019-01-05 22:00:57 +0000 UTCWe read the comments in the previous posts, and we're glad that most of the people are excited with the new plans! There are a few that we wanted to address:
-The new planned separate Patreon will be $1 just like mine. I'm not exactly expecting people to support both Patreons. (Or all 3 Patreons) In fact, I was expecting a lot of my Patrons will stop their support on mine and transfer once the other one is made. I'll be very grateful if people will support both, but I don't mind people leaving for the Adventure Time project.
-I'm personally happy that a few really like the old fan game. I too feel that it's a waste to see it left unfinished, but I believe it's for the best. I will understand that some will leave because of this decision.
-We see that VR is something a few really enjoyed from the previous fan game. While we can't really add it to the actual gameplay, we'll see what we can do to include it as a feature instead. (As soon as I/we manage to get a new VR since my Oculus DK2 died)
-Some have mentioned they're interested to see the project become an original game instead of a fan game. While I'm very happy to hear that, and that will be very ideal for us to avoid copyright legalities, I still somewhat want to stick with Adventure Time. (Simply because I started it as is) But we do have an idea to make it a fan game, but also making it an original game. That sounds confusing, right? That's why we're still looking into it and having discussions on making it work. (But I AM excited with this idea of ours)
So for now, we're working on the game. Here are the things we're currently working on:
-Hotdog is working on level designs for the episode 1. He's using a lot of plugins and 3D libraries for it so far. (And he's working on coming up with a proper online name, lol)
-I'm trying to redesign Finn once more. We felt the adult Finn I made looks too mature and serious. We're hoping to make him a college dude, not a dad.
-I admit I forgot about the Zootopia PSDs. I'm trying to work on them again to post them soon.
-I have to find time to share the 3D models of the fan game again. The previous one is pretty outdated.

2019-01-06 15:37:08 +0000 UTCSo here are my thoughts on the new stuff: 1$ Patreon? No problem! A porn game? Nice! My worries? In most porn games it’s just all about the sex. It’s like in all hentai vs echi anime’s. The anime’s tell a good story and you are just sitting there hoping to see one nip or to of your favorite girl. If you watch an hentai it’s just a crappy story (or not even) and just fuck fuck sex sex stuff. It’s only enjoyable for 30 seconds if you know what I mean. What you should try to do is not to show the sexy stuff to easy. Try building up a nice story around your characters. Make the player attached to them and not giving him what he wants. Tease the player with a long and enjoyable quest/story and finally reward him with some realistically owned sexy-times. Because we all know as soon as a man is done he will be free and start doing something productive. You have to try to make the game take part in the time bevor the eruption. I would suggest to make 1-2 hour of gameplay (including some nice teasing conversations) bevor giving us the blow. Think of it like the Skyrim guild quests. But instead of becoming the leader you become the volcano. Oh and please NO SEX ATTAKS and no fucking mid fight!

I mean your abilities in game design are amazing and i'm sure that hotdog is an amazing programmer too. But then again, it's your decision. Anyhow i'll support both patreons since they're pretty cheap anyways.

Kinda sad to see the old one get left behind, but in retrospect it may prove to be a good thing. And of course, I'd happily support all of your endeavors, including this and the new Patreon! (reason being because I found you on YouTube like 4 years ago, and I've been in love with your work ever since.) Keep up the awesome :)

I was under the assumption that it was going to be one of those projects that have teirs going up to $100 or something. I know when the announcement and link for the new patreon happens I might jump right on it.

You've been a huge influence on me and I can't wait to see what amazing stuff you do in the future. But also, don't forget to take care of yourself first. I'm sure all of us would rather wait a bit longer for an update than have you burn yourself out trying to hit a deadline.

If you want a cheaper VR alternative (and you use a Galaxy new enough for Gear VR) I recommend getting a Gear VR headset and getting RiftCat. I've been using it a while and it's great for most of my lewd VR activities. It emulates the Rift controllers using the GearVR controller (albeit quite limited since the Gear controller is 3dof and doesn't have all the buttons) or you can use simulated controllers linked to your view that you control with M+KB or a USB gamepad. You just can't use it for games that require two controllers in a way where you're holding a menu with one controller and aiming at it with the other controller. It was okay for the 'What if?' game but I had to do the room setup and tell it that I had 0 height for the newest version of 'What if?' It was worth it to get up close with PB.

I think giving him a white zip up hoodie with his well known hat as the hood and an over the shoulder green backpack, with some tattered jeans and maybe some white vans or sneakers can help get a more college look to Finn.
