The key to dodge the crazy laser spin is to change your sword to the 4D and hover over him in spirit form until he's finished. The charge up to fire the lasers gives you enough time to do so.

Practice dodging his stuff, if anything he's too predictable after you've figured out what he does and what to do, for example, when you see him using his lasers during his (3rd?) form all you have to do is double jump and infinite dash directly above him until the animation is completed.

Real Finn needs to be nerfed by alot i cant get past stage 3 and when i do its a insta-death if im hit in any of the stages afterwards, i literally have two achivements left and those are 1. Defeat Real Finn and 2 Get Real Finns sword but because Real Finn is seemingly impossible to defeat i cant complete those achivements and at this point all i want is to kill Real Finn so i can die happy also i got to the last time i had to hit him to defeat him twice and he did use a move that i cant mange to dodge and killed me right before i got him hit and i swear im going to have to go to a therapist for anger management if i ever kill him

*small spoiler* My last task is to "See all the characters in a certain form" .. the 2D Waifu form, and I've looked at and talked to all the characters i believe are affected by the hack. (Bmo, Princess Bubblegum, Prince Gumball, Marceline, Marchal Lee, Jake, Breakfast Princess, Ice Queen, and even the whacked out Poo Horse) but the task has yet to be completed. I'm having some trouble with gamepad controls. Namely: The dash button is also mapped to the pan-camera-right button, which my camera moves whenever I try to Dash. And it doesn't seem like I can unbind that.

I officially am not a fan of the "real finn" fight. i have played all the dark souls games to completion. I have dealt with challenge and attack patterns. I have also put 5 hours into this single fight and will not be finishing it. It is simply not fun. Compared to other bosses in this game, the shear perfect ability tracking and speed advantage the boss finn has in this fight does not make for a entertaining challenge in gameplay. It just feels like you do NOT have a fair chance at it. The first third alone until the boss starts flinging light spheres from the center of the room does not have a SINGLE moment to regain stamina. I could only get through it by dealing enough damage to force the second stage of the fight before my first stamina bar ran out. So many of the abilities can hit you regardless of where you are when they start and whether you are dashing or not. I have also seen different invincibility frames for the boss after the same attacks. At times the player can start dealing damage and other times the boss simply does not react to getting hit during a window which worked previously. Mike Inel i am actually begging you here. Can those of us who simply will not waste more time on this boss fight please get an alternate way around it? Just a skip space hidden in that area would be fine. I will never know what is after that fight otherwise as i am sure some others even less patient than I are likely to miss out as well. :/ Honestly this was the first update i was disappointed with. Three of the same jumping puzzles in different areas instead of the many unique and fun things that exist in this game. Something more like the only stand out in this update that I feel fits the style of this game: the school area time changing. Please try more interesting game-play puzzles like that in the future instead of nearly impossible boss fights.

I don't know what fetish for making the game impossible you have but the hit detection is worse than earlier versions, attacks that should have been dodged end up hitting and the inability to buy more than one potion is extremely frustrating when you have to run back between failed boss fights to refill them.

just played through the entire beta start to finish. This is coming along beautifully and I'll be upping my pledge in support. Final boss battle was magnificent and the only change I would make is a slight delay between the boss's spells as it is possible to be caught in an endless loop of lightning and ice. Other than that fantastic. Add Bronwyn! JUST DO IT MAN, DO IT!!!

Have to change the TIME. If you are using mouse hold the dash button(and make sure the picture snaps into position after as this might knock it out) and move the mouse up or down to change the time. Do it slowly as a couple of the pictures are a little more touchy than others on what time is needed.

FINALLY 100%, took a while but did it, the game still holds up in quality, combat is good in the easy to learn and the bosses have a nice pattern to learn while easy to find is hard to actually preform for some of them (I had a bit of difficulty on ice queen) and nice secret areas for the hidden costumes (the high school area definetly wants me to see you do a generic high school anime opening with the character designs), And very nice to see the credits room and i bet that you will have to add a few more to it in the future (seriously over 5,000 is insane), but i can't wait to see what comes with the next update with flame princess now in the game i can't wait to see her quest happen. so take a well desrved rest for a bit and I can't wait to see either the next update or next project (since you just put up the poll for the next "what if _ was an anime") so good luck with your future work. P.S If you do make Canyons quest in the future you could make it an area to place characters you want to put in the game but aren't sure what to do with yet, just an idea but your choice on what to do :)

You need the mega milk mod. Go back to the repeating maze ( where you went to get the bombs) and go Center, Right, Center, Left and the card should be in the middle of the room. Then take it to BMO to activate it.

Loving the update! I loved the reference to Doxy's Fionna x FP comic, and the Phineas and Ferb reference was pretty fun too. One minor gripe I have is when you're playing as Fionna and you're trying to break the barrier within the time limit. If you already have FP tagging along with you, she gets in the way and starts talking when you try to attack.

NVM i finally got the double jump trick. When you jump literally at the edge the double jump fails when you hold it, but when you jump (i.e: lets use the candle stick) near the center you can actually time your jump. That's how i got the last orb.

The final wishing orb is in the Nightmare. You just have to walk past where the boxes would have been in the waking world.

You really need the double health buff from Breakfast Princess on the beach. With infinite dash you can fully dodge the 6 beam attack he does in the latter of the fight just by holding it. And when he does that stupidly powerful attack you have a window to hit him 12 times before he blocks and hits you.

You pretty much gotta spam jump on the side of it, it doesn't look like you can but the physics are wonky enough to let you get onto it by doing that.

You have to defeat Ice Queen in order to get the infinite dash to span on top of Marceline's house. I recommend using the root sword to block most of her attacks. Watch out for penguins though. They will be the bane of your existence once you get to the last stage of the fight.

No, it's still there. You just have to have beaten the Ice Queen in the second battle before the star spawns on Marshall's house (least that's what had to do)

I definitely agree, most specifically Marceline's House (Secret Level). Bugged double-jumps can be VERY frustrating, especially after you've finally made it to the friggin horse, try to double-jump onto its tail, only to miss and fall back to the ground, causing you to start all the way over. I'd suggest maybe adding a mechanism that can be activated once you've reached the other side of the closed door, that makes getting back to the "half-way" point less frustrating.

I second this. I am disappointed that I had to look up what to do. If right-click dash were disabled there, like everything else including jump, then I do not see a problem figuring that out.

BUG: so weird thing happened to me. After getting killed by ice queen a few times, I decided I wanted to take a break and wanted to exit the game, so I paused and clicked exit to menu. The menu then loaded, but what I saw was interesting to say the least. Long dash is in Fionna's world atop marshal lee's house. Took me a minute, als I got it using the 4D sword AFTER beating Ice queen. Long dash would make it easier to beat her but you can do it without. Use the demon sword, and just stock up on potions. Also having the max health max stamina helps LOADS. as well as the "Makes potions more potent"

The potions purchasing with Flame princess seems kind of buggy. I can buy potions while I'm full (it costs money, the potions get added to my inventory (not shown but can use). First time I tried to buy I had none and she told me I was full, had to buy them from breakfast princess. Breakfast princess model viewer is missing some models, was driving me nuts trying to figure out what I was doing wrong but it looks like someone else in the comments here was having the same problem. Also, if you could add a feature or setting for mouse focus? I try to use the windows gaming bar (windows key + G) but because focus is stolen by the game, I can't click checkboxes. In windowed mode, it's impossible to move the game window around.

Windows (MEGA) download is Mac files, messed up there.

BUG: the ??? sword allows the player to bypass getting the dash ability, the speed of which the sword slashes allows the player to reach the elevator to get the bomb

So minor bug, when in the room where you find the bomb and dash ability, monsters spawn when you attempt to climb the ladder, however when I died to the monsters, repawned, and then went back to the area with the monsters they didn't respawn and I could climb the ladder freely.

Each picture has a certain time associated with it (look at the shadows and overall color). You have to change the time to match it. You can change the time by holding down the right mouse button and moving the mouse up or down. Took me a while to figure out =)

In the model viewer, are breakfast princess' last 4 "appearances" the swimsuit version? If so I can't seem to get them to show on there even tho I have used the ??? Sword in her in that form and with huge tattas on 😂

Mike Inel might I suggest uploading to multiple sites so as to avoid congestion? Google drive is limiting downloads. Maybe try Mega. They are free up to 50 GB of space for file and it's not much different than google drive so doesn't take much to get used to.

Can somebody tell me how to collect all orbs on Marceline's House bonus level? That jump from radio to next object is ridiculus. I've got success only 1 from 15 times =( Finn or Fionna just don't want to do double jump there... And arter that, after kitchen what should I do? Jump from flipped stool on Horse? The Ultimate boss don't give me such despair and butthurt as this level.

Bait out a normal sword combo from him, dodge everything else and try to take as little damage as possible. If you chain combos with dash you can get about 12 hits with the 4d sword in before he tries to parry you. Use 4d teleport to get away from mechanics or dodge him, it gives you so much more ground, then use it to get back to him afterwards.

O also for that spinny laser stuff he does. I just dashed above him and went into soul mode using the 4D sword. He can't hit you directly above him. If you time it right you can come out and get a few hits in as well

Yeah flame princess counted, Thanks a bunch Shawn. And Quan, make sure you have the potion upgrades from Breakfast princess otherwise the fight is pretty much impossible. I only hit him back after he did certain attacks. And I just counted my dash attacks up to 12 because if you hit him 13 times he smacks you back. Just rinse repeat.

I think I might have missed the bomb area costume. Although I think there might be a bug with the 2D characters achievement.. Lookin great! All im missing so far are 2 of the costumes (i managed to find the wirt, chris, sailor, gym uniform, bee costume, and garnet costume outfits), the 2d hack (pls help), and the sword you get after beating the new boss. Also, is there a reason why the upskirt shots for finn and fionna were removed as well as the shibinikki outfit (however you spell it)? i kinda miss them and if its because of patreon, then maybe you could release a texture pack mod or something from an outside source?

Nah, I've already beaten the boss in the nightmare zone, so Hambo is just chillin' in Marceline's house and I don't know if there's an option to re-enter, like apparently for that orb or for a rematch.

Go back? If you're talking about the nightmare zone, at the entrance of the cave there should be a giant doll's head. Go up to it and it'll let you back out.

There's three holes in the ceiling above Marceline's house and another two above in the same spot where the hole in the wall is.

Get breakfast princess to prank Marceline/Marshall and they will go take a shower on the floor above. Then use the poo brained horse or ??? sword to get close to the hole in the ceiling and just look at them.

Missing 3 costumes and it's driving me mad. Found the secret areas behind the hole in the wall and in the main area's ceiling above Marcellines house but at a loss about the others. From what I've noticed so far, the Shibakini has been removed and the underwear in Finn's Sailor Fuk-U was changed into boxers. Also, every clothing option with Fionna in a skirt shares the same boxer texture that Finn wears.

It looks like maybe potions are bugged when using an old save? I can't see them on the screen, can't remember what the button to use them is, and am told that I'm full when I try to buy more. Great update otherwise though!

Get the double heal potions from FP and load up, use the ultra dash to get away from the clone attack, and use the 4D sword to hover in the air while he does that beam attack of death which requires you to NOT be on the floor
