i have gotten everything but the clothes while playing as finn even beat the ice king not marc though, every time i try anything but the bomb route i get sent back out, dont know how to get outfits. the light switch for tha cave doesnt work so i dont know if that was a secret to get or not.

Leave the puzzle difficulty where it's at. I enjoyed wrecking my feeble mind to figure out some of these things. I'm gonna remain neutral about the combat difficulty against bosses since I can agree/relate with most of the arguments from either side. Like any other adventure platform though needs more content. I'd like to see the story progress. Of course more NSFW stuff too.

So I think I found a secret, but I cannot confirm since I can't figure it out. When you turn off the lights as Finn and look at the NSFW posters I noticed arrows on a few of them. If anyone else has figured this out let me know please..

I found that during the fight switching between locked on and unlocked helped greatly for avoiding damage. When she enters her guitar combo make sure she's unlocked and rotate your camera and start dashing around her to avoid her energy blades. Took me a few tried to figure this out.

tbh my only complaint is how ridiculously hard the Marcaline boss fight is. Like, my only problem with the fight is when she goes into that combo with her guitar thats virtually impossible to dodge due to how every hit stun-locks you. If you could adjust the damage she does in that combo or make it so that the player doesn't get stunned after every hit, then the gameplay and bosses would be basically perfect in my opinion.

Nice! I just finished it and I'm very impressed and satisfied. Your skill is insane, I'm hooked onto your work. I don't know if more is coming to the game, but I have some suggestions and such: -Marceline is exceptionally difficult. Fun, but difficult, took me 5 tries, but one potion. I feel it should be easier to understand her attack, or maybe dodge/counter attack of such. -The proportions of Marceline and PB. I get that this is NSFW, which I love, but it's hard to get past the fact that PB's hips are wider than if three of her heads were put together. Perhaps tune it down a bit? I'll still enjoy it, but I feel it would be slightly more enjoyable. -Bring back the NSFW code. -Option to put bosses health bar at the bottom of the screen. I find it cleaner and easier to follow. -Marshal Lee boss fight. -Upgraded Combo Upgrade (Find star to get.) -Option to switch Marcelines outfits in Explore mode. -Normal PB outfit.

I actually tried that, but it's a bit hard and doesnt work the time i do it... probably cause I'm not that skilled.. my way is just the easy way out of the fight. For those who can't seem to outrun her.. thanks for the advice anyways skabooble :)

Actually you can kite her by running away from her+direction. As soon as she starts following you just run away from her in a big circle. After that she starts following you. Now its time to provoke her - slow down abit and let her start her combo. Then continue to ru. Away. It will help to avoid her combo at all.

With double jump you can make it from the computer room door up to the platform on the left, so getting to the ice king room is easier I guess...

tip for marcy fight.. When she is doing her axe combo.. just jump and let her ranged attack hit you. You will become invulnerable for a few seconds, and when the invulnerability is about to wear off.. just jump again and let her hit you... This way you receive minimum damage and can even beat her without a potion..

Just a heads up, if you help out flying fish princess she actually gives you a second bottle to use for another potion which makes it a lot easier

From a gameplay standpoint there is a problem with Marceline battle. I'll try to explain. She can be harmed in a very small window right after she finished her combo. The only way to avoid combo is to be on a far side of the platform so you would have time to dodge her axe ranged attacks which is next to impossible. After that she instantly stunlocks you(from time to time you may happen to get in a window between attacks and run away) and eats a chunck of your health. The problem with that is there is no way to heal it back since you can only use 1 potion and getting hit or not by her combo is a question of luck more than a skill.

Personally i quite enjoyed the difficulty of the game. It made defeating the bosses all the more satisfying. If all you have to do to win the game is mindlessly press a bunch of buttons in a clear pattern, its just incredibly disengaging and boring. Of all the bosses, Marceline was certainly my favorite. Her moves were so fucking badass and having to devote my full attention and strategy to defeating her, coupled with the fact that you weren't annoyingly told how to beat her and figure it out for yourself, created a feeling of adventure, turmoil, and triumph. I thought it was a brilliant final boss battle.

If you have NSFW enabled you can peek on the male and female version of Marceline in the shower. You need to ask Breakfast Princess to prank them first, you also need the creepy horse follow you for you to stand on so you can see the shower properly. You can also find a snail in the cave with the eyes, it's by the exit, i suggest entering the cave from the exit up top (by the guy with the lever) so you don't have to go through the whole cave again.

I agree that it wasn't too hard now that i've done everything but i feel some things could be less frustrating, the snake thing would be a one shot deal with no potions if i could see all the telegraphs as dodging wasn't an issue when i actually could see it. Marceline was okay if you had the potions but i feel it was too hard to dodge the ground flames in her second phase, there wasn't a clear way to dodge her combos either once you got hit beyond mashing the dash and hope for the best, maybe she could have a few slower moves in the combo that punishes mashing by tracking you if you're too fast to dodge out of it.

Get close so that it triggers her animations and just dash constantly afterwards. As long as you dont get stunned by the uppercut you can kill her.

I didn't find the game to be that hard at all. It was challenging, but in a good way. And my dashing skills were subpar since I'm using a laptop touchpad. I won once I tried locking on. I think what the game really needs is some camera zoom tweaking or something along those lines. Fighting the snake for example, I had difficulty finding the ripples since I couldn't see the whole board, and sometimes Marceline would get into my blindspot, but the game is definitely beatable. So I disagree with the difficulty. I only died against Marceline. Unlike Marceline, the snake can be hit during his attacks. So... he's really not that bad either. And it makes sense that Marceline should be a challenge.

I loved the difficulty myself. Marceline took me several tries, which was good. I beat the alternate snake on my first go, but it was cloooose! I love this game, it's great. Difficulty included.

Yeah and Double Jump doesn't seem to have a purpose though there is that hole in the ceiling just before the beach area that even with the Ice King you cannot make it through.

guys, the difficulty is perfect. stop complaining. I beat the worm with Fin on the first try. With Fiona, it took 5 tries. to get the sword, got it the first run. Ice king took me 2 tries. Marci took 6 tries. It's fun when its a difficult anyways. whats the point of playing if you an beat the game in 10mins?

I beat her with no potion and in just 6 tries. jumps and dashes is what you need to dodge most of her combos. your goal is to dodge the beam. if she gets you with that then you wont be able to cause maximum damage. good luck.

I still don't understand #5, I have all of them but even after going back to where #6 is as both, I can't find it.

If I may, it's not that the dificulty is hard as much as the design of some enemies is kind of awkward to deal with with the tools we have. For example, the Ice King is ok, but Marceline is made for a character that can roll and have i-frames in the animation. Like a DS kind of boss. I found myself wanting to be able to roll to her side and attack her while she was mid-combo because, well, even dashing I was able. Also I wouldn't say it's difficult as much as it's demanding. By the fifth time Marceline had bested me I was able to take her down without potions and with 3/4 of the HP because it was easy. It was somewhat reminiscent to the Sans fight from Undertale. Learn the fight, then win it. Dumbing it down would hurt I think would hurt the game. But that's just what I think. GG dev. That was amazing. I'm still strugling with the 3 last achievements!

So this might sound like a dumb question, I found all the secrets and everything but I was just wondering if I missed something since I never seemed to figure out what the snail did? like maybe Im over thinking it but it says how the snails were replaced with stars for the abilities giving the snails another purpose, and I was just curious if anyone noticed what it was? unless it was just to fill that picture frame and thats it haha

Thank you everyone for your feedback! Indeed, the difficulty is too hard in this update. When I work on the next major update, I'll do my best to make it easier (both battles and puzzles) so the game will be more fun. (This doesn't mean there won't be any more difficult battles, since I'm planning to add more)

Marceline fight is unnecessarily hard, it's super unfun to set up a lock out combo, and your camera controls are nowhere near good enough to justify that dodging, also you shouldn't have to spam dash in any fight ever. Also, will never stop missing the lewd version. it seriously looked great.

You need to dash and move the camera in circles (fuck you Dark Souls), and that doesn't assure you to dodge her 100% of time. For me I just need to farm a potion AGAIN to try beat her. 250 bubbles is a lot although you farm it in 5min. Also I guess you can only take one potion at a time. But yeah, Marcy fight is kind of boring and frustating right now :c

I'm afraid to complain about the difficulty until i have done it all but man... it is hard, i didn't use to have a problem with the alternate world snake thing but goddamn there just isn't enough time to react since you can't see all the potential attack telegraphs and i can't discern any pattern unlike the last time. At least the swords are easier to get now, as in not unreasonably infuriating. Edit: It wasn't that hard once i went back and got a potion, it's just that i don't feel that i should have to, not saying it should be easier per se but rather that the telegraphs perhaps should be more obvious, perhaps you could pull the camera back to a fixed position, should work in VR too. Anyway, now to find that final secret, thought it was gonna be in the cave with eyes but i found nothing and i've been everywhere else, i haven't got the faintest on where to look. Edit 2: Found it, it was a lot smaller than i expected from playing the previous iterations so i missed it the first few times i looked around the place, i honestly expected it to be by the pillars by the entrance since that's the hardest place to get to.

so either the alternate dimension route is buggy or mike programmed some sort of "anti-guess-mechanism" the only route that worked is the one to the bombs. But it's still a good update :) but i have questen: in the video about the new content you can see NSFW posters while it was dark. i also think there you can get the direction, because of the part with darkness in light in the rhyme. but how do i do that? The light switch is not working

Hey Mike - great work as always! Keep it up :). The only thing I'm unsure of whether or not it's a secret area, is the hole in the roof right before the beach entrance. There's no collision stopping you from getting a bit of the way up. Can't figure it out!
