I worked out a similar strategy: jump out, dash forward, jump back. Occasionally, you'll gracefully dodge a volley and make some progress. When you get to the neck, just power-dash until the fire stops.

Cool. When I do the maze as the posters direct me, I get to the area where you get the bombs. Unfortunate bug where they lead to the same place? Will suck as many dicks as it takes to get an actual walkthrough somewhere, anywhere. Not really, but really. Edit: I figured it out, but that isn't explained at all by the letter sitting on the desk. Like, with the "hints" and "explanations" here it still wasn't obvious. The only things I have left is, what do I do with the rope? and how do I get to the mechanical door? Explain it to me like I'm 5, please. It's nice to see the gameplay rebalance in this one, it's shaping up to be a fun game beyond the fanservice and VR neatness. If i'd have any complaint it would be the fireball thing with Fionna, it might have been possible to dodge if it didn't speed up but as is it feels like luck if you beat it more than anything, not all that satisfying when it comes down to it. I understand why it speeds up, it's just that i'm not sure it's the best solution and i'm not sure what would be.

This game is great, though I still have a few criticisms. The second fireball challenge is more unfair than it is hard. The hitboxes + the fireball tracking sometimes makes it impossible to dodge fireballs. This becomes even more of a problem when the fireballs speed up as you get closer. The attack softlock after falling into water is also a problem, however this is more of a annoyance/nitpick rather than a major concern. Overall, the game is solid and I can't wait to play the next version of the game.

I literally say right after that to "just tell me" as in no hints, just tell me flat out. However, I figured it out. For those who are stuck like I was, check the area where you had to smash the planks with the sword.

Found another bug where when you're fighting the sea monster thing you sometimes get teleported back to the beach rather than the platform, also if you quit the game you can see the monster's purple health bar in the title screen (sometimes right at the front of the selection or very far away in the bg) when you quit while fighting it

if the recently released trailer is any indication theres a school girl outfit for finn. also i think the reason the Shibakini isnt working is because, like the Marceline's censored butt and the PB animation on Mikes NSFW tumblr, its meant for the NSFW version

idk if this applies to Fin's sword but in fiona's version if you time right and hit a fireball while getting the sword u will continue flying backwards over the edge xD

There's a bug about the posters puzzle code. It worked fine the first time I tried the game, then I reseted my saved data and the new generated code didn't work, still working the older one. Awesome game btw :3

i can't figure out how to do the poster puzzle. i know you have to be in regular outfit and select the fionna and icequeen posters and use the dirctions of the maze, but no matter what i try, nothing works. is there supposed to be a specific way to interact with the posters or something?

I think they're all in the cavern around Marceline's house, but one requires you to take the left tunnel, and then higher path back in. Once you spot one, get close to it (First Person helps), then hit B to get the ability. There's Double-Jump, Air Dashing, and Faster Sword Attacks if memory serves. (There's other powers you can get, but those are unlocked differently.)

David: There's a much harder version of the fireball run that rewards you with a sword. If you did that without abilities, well, go you, but that had to be hard.

[SPOILER] Activate the Egg Prank on Finn's side, but before visiting Marceline, go to the portal and switch to Fiona, then go visit Marshall. The horse comment is a hint to get the horse to appear under the hatch by the ladder, so you can stand on it for a better camera angle. [/SPOILER]

I haven't gotten it to work, but my theory is that you somehow have to use the direction the horse poster shows to get into the dimension portal (genderbent dimension). But thats my theory about what marshal said.

I mean the creature that follows you around and sometime pops up somewhere in the room when you're not looking. I figure that's the 'horse'. You get him with Finn at the very start of the game by going in the cave to the right of Marceline's house.

[Spoilers] Got the Shibakini and the sword so I think that's everything. Though I don't get what Marshall Lee means by visiting the portal before visiting the house, and don't forget to bring the horse. I can go back to the portal from the genderbent side and there's holes in the ceiling, but I can't jump all the way up them and the horse doesn't follow into the room. Any ideas? I beat the Fionna Fireballs level!!!! I wanna cry soooo bad. <a href="http://imgur.com/a/xoMJt" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://imgur.com/a/xoMJt</a> So here we come my tips,go to the right edge as possible as you can,then walk 1/6 only doge the right-most one fire ball with single jump also you can heal yourself at this spot,next go further but you need double jump to the right and dash back in when you close to the ground and with no going back, but not just double jump! The timing are important to!First jump doge the main fireball(the right-most one) jump again like 0.35sec after than dash back to the center get hit by a fire ball, don't panic that 95% will happen, then double jump again! dash back again! get hit again! until you reach the end. I try 2 hours to beat this level, but only try 3 times with this strategy ,Good Luck Adventurer.

I'm really impressed with the improvements between the last update and this one! Just out of curiosity (please don't interpret this as me pressuring you in any way), once you finish with the Gravity Falls animation and (presumably) shift this to be your primary project, how often will we be able to expect updates? If you didn't have a set schedule planned, that's fine too, I was just wondering.

Mike Inel, I think you may have to tone down the second fire challenge, since atm it seems too hard. The spawn rate and speed + the hitboxes of the fireballs seems kinda unfair, to the point where cheesing the challenge is somewhat one of the only ways to clear the challenge and get the sword upgrade. This however can just be me and my lack of skills, so any of the other players may correct me in the comments if they think the challenge is okay.

Oh noooòòo shibakini is not working!?😣😢 Also once in gender world i went to the worm and it activated but i felt down in the water and got teleported to previos rock and after that i didnt could fight the worm because of invisible walls. I could not pass thrue the walls to worm. But its not big bug. I just went back to cave and it fixed itself. Sorry for my bad english also

To be fair, I would've been done with the Hard Worm much faster if I'd realized the 2x Sword was there. :P

It's semi-RNG, but spam dashes until the fireballs start coming, then double jump off to the left of the platform, then dash back right onto it, maximizing your air time off the side of the platform. If you get hit, you can usually get one dash out before you need to get off the platform again. Just try not to be knocked into the gutters. When you get close you can try spamming dash while sliding slightly to the left and right. I ended up dying when I did that, but got close enough for it to count.

Save carried over nicely, went through the awesome new feature and Easter eggs. Even if its incomplete really loving the update. However I tried resetting the game with BMO (to experience the update from scratch) and having trouble getting started, with no way of getting a sword and dash. Is this a possible bug or am I forgetting something?

Oof, that Hard Worm (and yes, I know it's supposed to be hard) tried my patience quite a bit. It took me 10 or so tries and a bit of luck, even with double-jump and dashing. It got so fast I couldn't physically get the character out of the way fast enough. Kind of sapped some of the fun out hitting my head on it over and over.

some out of context spoilers: currently when i get to the beach, breakfast princess is already saved, and the dialogue begins after marceline has already been egged once (finn asks if she could go do it again). beating the bomb lady doesn't do anything and neither does the fire ball thing. maybe that's not finished? as for the clues in the ice kings chamber i have no idea what that means... also after the disc has been found, and the door opened, bmo still has an option about where to find the cave drawings.

With the Beta 5 now done and playable, I regret to say that the fan game will now be on-hold once again, (as mentioned in the previous post) until the "Twins Forever" animation is done. But even so, I will still try my best to fix glitches that people find. Again, thank you everyone for your support!
