Aircraft Carrier Surgery
Added 2023-04-06 17:13:24 +0000 UTCBit of a sad update this week, turns out I made an error with Roosevelt. When trying to put in the catapults, the angle wasn't lining up correctly and after several hours of problem solving I realized the issue was that the Nimitz class.... has tumblehome. Not tumblehome as we think of on ocean liners, but very similar. The exterior wall slopes inward as it goes up from the hangar deck, so I have to demolish the wall, push it in at an angle, and rebuild all my elevators. A fix that will unfortunately take quite some time.

I wonder why the tumblehome is not even close to the waterline. I thought that was the whole point.
