Makes sense since the abberation felt like Locus Attunement. Both Locus and Dungeon Core are deeply connected to magic - one providing it and one corrupting it. I wonder where Loci (Locuses?) come from... Mana seems to be common in the universe and Earth lacking it is an exception.

This makes me question that. It almost feels like the dungeon decided to acquiesce to the demands of a blight in exchange for killing the party, probably Rob and Keira especially. If that' is true, that would mean dungeons are some other kind of entity, and leads into the question of how do aberrant dungeons form "naturally" in the first place if they don't turn aberrant after the fact. Is it a blight merely imitating a dungeon, or is it them finding a nascent dungeon and infecting it before it comes into it's own?
