How many of his skills can get sapience? Does he need to get another one up and running to balance out LHigh? Maybe Leadership?

2022-08-11 06:27:03 +0000 UTCSo it's a good thing that his teammates can't get leveling high, because they just gained 6-8 levels in 2 minutes (since do not go gently never wore off). I have some questions though: 1) What is the benefit of class levels other than getting new skills? does it raise the damage or use of the skills, or does it do something else? 2) I didn't see an explicit mention that class level went up from 52-62 in the change log. 3) And now onto the reason that everyone is so scared. Their inner thoughts: Did Rob gain TWO levels in crystal bearer and then pick the worst choice of the new options without consulting them?! Or are we just being paranoid? ------ Great chapter! good use of skills. Leveling high will be a problem, and the dwarves will probably want him locked away for a bit till they can figure out how to handle him (to use wayfarer or not... decisions decisions...). I'm wondering when/if he will get the chance to restore the locus. I also want to know what's the story with that maybe-not-a-god from before, but that's not coming up in the next chapter or few so can afford to be patient about that.

I figured the side story would end with Rob having to save Jason from levellimg high, but its starting to look like it might end up the opposite, with Jason having to convince Rob to shake off the effects of that static in the future.

I think the only complaint I have about this battle is that he never tried casting enmity, which seems like the very obvious thing to do with their hit and run tactics and him wanting to get close enough to one to purge corruption on it.

This has to be my favorite chapter for harrowing fights by far :0

I'm glad that this story doesn't follow a murder-hobo dnd character, but I have to admit that it was satisfying seeing leveling-high, power-gaming Rob absolutely decimate the blight with his minmaxed skills.
