This chapter was magnificient, our first true conversation with the Blight and it was everything I hoped for! Horrifying and unsettling, and alien as ever, and it even dropped several bombshells just to mess with the party! The boss battle was brilliant too, and I'm glad to see Vulto is taking the spearhead in building relations between Fiends and Dwarves. I love to see Alessia saving Rob's butt here too, it's rather funny when you remember how she voted to kill him at the story's start. I'll be waiting patiently for the next chapter, but I do dearly hope Rob opens up about Earth, I want to see him grill the Stonewarden over a table on how he got his hands on historically recent rifled firearms and electricity.

It’s possible that the gods just used mana to make copies of beings that exist elsewhere, and made them, speak- Spanish? Then copied Humans from Earth and had them, speak, English (but everyone else too)? I’m so confused…

2022-07-15 01:06:14 +0000 UTCmy understanding is that theyre the previous worlds inhabitants whos souls have been blended into a emultion and left in the void going mad and theyve gotten so strong and unhinged theyre encroaching on the world. the gods i think are a result of reaching level 100 cause if i remeber there was a "quest" for reaching level 100 with the "reward:???" but that might be a reach. the system seems to have existed before the gods and they havea limited way to manipulate it.
