Back in The Village, there weren't many cases of Corruption either, Rob only got 7 points of corruption from the fully formed Blight, and at the start of the story, a Blight wolf that injured him gave him no Corruption at all. Either the Blight are getting better or more prone to spreading Corruption as time passes, or the Blight in Dwarf territory are older, and more deadly than any Blight we've seen before.
