That said, unfortunately, I have to inform you that I will be ending my Patreon subscription. What with how things are looking at the moment, especially financially, I can no longer waste money or time recklessly. I'll still follow your work on Spacebattles though. 2022-03-01 16:00:59 +0000 UTCSo what I’m getting from this is that Elatra is the gods’ personal fishbowl which they wipe clean every now and then so they can try something new. Then again, how would the gods have done that whole Light thing if they have limited Influence? Hmmm… I am recalling the god perspective section at the end of book 1 where they say that they shouldn’t worry about the blight because “we should be done soon enough.” I await future chapters with bated breath, especially hoping for a chapter from the perspective of those two poor merpeople in Fiendland.

Or the light of destruction from the human sacrifice ritual. Or something connected to the leviathans and the void at the end of the world. All are interesting possibilities!

The others are dicks though, so another level of almighty resistance is probably a good thing. Light, though, is that the blight? I'm given to believe it's blackish more than anything, is this something different alltogether?
