I expect most people in the same situation would decide to kill them. WIth the Fiends lives at stake, it's a really hard decision. Looking forward to more.

Morals have nothing to do with this kind of decision, not when the party's lives, not to mention the entire population of Fiends on Elatra, is at stake. Two Merfolk's lives are meaningless when compared against that and anyone who says otherwise is insane. Sure, not wanting to kill them in cold blood is one thing, but there were alternatives, such as forcing them to accompany the party for the time being, that didn't involve wasting Waymark. I'm gonna take a break for at least a few chapters to let whatever clusterfuck happens as a result of this decision play out so I don't have to put up with the inevitable cliffhangers that will be involved.
