Obviously I don’t want to know exactly how the story is going to unfold, but if the story was full of harems or rape and non traditional romances for the main character, I would want that info to be available for me to find because those are things that can affect peoples enjoyment of the story. Everyones values and opinions are different and you can’t just talk someone into agreeing with you all the time. Anyways this discussion has gone on for a while and has kind of gone off the rails so lets end it here.

I just think that’s something that should be known and in the description or whatever before you read. Nothings worse than dedicating a ton of time to a story just to find out 3 books in that the relationship dynamics aren’t what you thought they were. It can be a dealbreaker.

And if I found out the person I had that kind of bond with also had a bond like that with another person it would wreck me. I don’t think it’s possible to be in a romantic relationship with 2 people and love them both equally. I just can’t comprehend it. And I get that not everyone is like that, but I personally wouldn’t be able to enjoy a story if the main character, the person I’m supposed to relate to, was in a relationship like that.

On the Zamira note, It’s impossible to go through life and not get hurt and opening a relationship to her where you don’t feel any potential romantic attraction (in robs case) is irresponsible and worse than them hurting for a bit and moving on.

And I really hope Zamira finds someone else to crush on instead of being dragged back into a situation by Rob that’s she’s already uncomfortable with. On another note, did Duran just die? I can’t believe it. Randor and Lycia was sad too. Good chapter.
