I feel so bad for those sporekings. I hope we do eventually get a 'friendly' monster that isn't murdered for exp now that there is precident.

So thats the Dungeon dealt with. Not a single death either, now thats going to boost morale a lot. I am curious though, when will we get an update on whats happening to Jason on Earth. Is time on Elatra parallel to Earth? Will Earth have dungeons like this maybe?

... This is probably going to be a prelude, before Rob get's hit by a spiritual whammy by a Dungeon Core, would it? Or, unwittingly get hit by "I ONLY WANTED TO SURVIVE!" resonating to massive angst damage, 'past' Rob's growing murderhobo addiction? ... Or, "could you turn a Dungeon Core, into a base?"

I'm in agreement. After reading it and finding several bits enjoyable and such, her 'swell of revulsion' is what'll stick with me the most. After all, if she still finds him repulsive.. I hope his wellbeing stays something positive for her.

Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah, I've tried to avoid the story becoming an MC cult. It's natural that the people around him would become more supportive as he continues to be a stand-up guy, but I've also made sure to point out to include points that highlight that he didn't completely overwrite horrible trauma (Randor, Alessia), that some people still don't particularly like him (Marconez), and that Rob recognizes that a lot of his supporters are doing so because he's started being useful, not because they specifically like him as a person.

Great chapter. I'd also like to say I liked the team acknowledging the creator of the EXP sharing item for keeping them alive. A minor detail, but I think it's good to share the love around so the characters don't end up seeming as a 'Rob cult' (to clarify i don't think they are now, but plenty of stories end up as MC cults eventually)

Excellent chapter sir, had a blast reading it. Especially that whole "wait, am I laughing? I should probably stop that". It's good to see that the elder has that moment of revulsion, and rather than denying it she accepts it and moves forward. Great character building

I'm fairly certain the revulsion is because the Dreamthief was a sore loser that was rubbing her nose in all the atrocities she witnessed humans commit firsthand. Especially considering we saw in her POV scene how she didn't hate Rob nearly so much anymore, and was mocked for it. I can easily see making someone like her so blatantly aware of her bias having the complete opposite effect. I imagine this might make her even more accepting of Rob. While still not being an easy, overnight thing cause feels are feels. Just because you know what you're feeling is stupid or bad, you don't just suddenly stop feeling it. Takes time and effort.

The scary thing about this chapter is that it confirms that the elder really does hate rob. Before, she had fought by his side, stood up for him, and followed him into exile. We were all sorta thinking she was cool with his existence. Now though? Now we realize that it's a thin facade, thin enough that a plant can see through it after a cursory rummage through her thoughts. And the implications of someone so close still hating him and coming in the journey are that any of the other elves could be the same way without half so much effort.

I hate that twitter exists, but understand why you are getting an account. Since I don't have one, I won't be following it lol. thanks for the chapter
