2000 people eating adds up fast even if they don't have to do it often, they only had so much food to bring in the first place, and if they take a path different than the one he was expecting it might very well take several weeks for him to find them again.

2021-06-28 16:02:24 +0000 UTCI was thinking the fact that she has the health potions literally onhand is a great, nonverbal communication. All she has to do is hold one up and point at him while making sure to be a step or two away from his body. Anyone Inspecting him will see there's something else going on. ...granted, she's been a recluse for who knows how long. She seems smart, but she could be forgiven for not making the most optimal choice here in the heat of the moment.

2021-06-28 14:54:52 +0000 UTCAnother *amazing* chapter God the cliffhanger, I'm so excited I hope the elves don't end up fighting, or worse, hurting, Rob's new friend

2021-06-28 12:43:28 +0000 UTCBiggest cliff for me isn't the dragonkin vs elves. That will get sorted out, faster if she moves calmly, slowly away from the mostly-dead human. The big cliff is what's up with that INITIALIZING status and the cut off Crystal Bearer status message.

2021-06-28 12:32:53 +0000 UTCFastest way to defuse this misunderstanding- Meyneth puts down the health potions (empty and/or full), steps back and says in Common: "If you want to keep force-feeding this brain-damaged human his health potions, be my guest." Of course, this won't be how it happens, and depending on how much distance is left between them when the chapter ends, it may even be impossible to say that many words. But it's fun to think about.

2021-06-28 08:36:06 +0000 UTCHadn't thought of that. It could also be that the cataclysm energy beams targeted Loci of power and the intensity was relative to the number of humans in that Locus' radius.

2021-06-28 05:02:34 +0000 UTCY'know, potato if you do decide to put these chapters into a physical book eventually, I'll fucking buy them.

2021-06-28 04:47:44 +0000 UTC"That baggage is so full you can barely close the zipper." Pfftt another good line. And to the surprise of no one, it looks like the Blight and the white noise of leveling high are probably linked. The Blight's description mentioned revelry when it popped out, and now we get a glimpse of actual words telling Rob to kill people and indulge in revelry. If the two aren't connected, I'll eat my nonexistent hat.
