Kind of want to get more of Kenzotul's back story at some point. Some sort of spy or behind-enemy-lines operator? Saboteur? He clearly did a lot he regrets, and knows a surprising amount about the sabotage game

Is the personality that formed one that formed in Rob's own wetware after the trauma (human brains do all sorts of strange adaptive stuff). Is it an AI hosted in the system speaking to rob telepathically? I have a fair amount of antipathy towards the system (and whoever is fucking w/ the MC, which may not be the same), but there's a lot we don't know (including "why", which can radically change how one views things). Plus, unlike the silent mental "skills" (system implemented mind altering), Dip actually talks to him, offers suggestions, but lets him chose. That's more like a familiar or a friend than a mind-controlling parasite. The ones that are less up front offend me a lot more, currently.

2021-06-07 07:08:58 +0000 UTCI also love how Rob is so understanding and patient with diplomacy, it's so ironic for the human to be calming down his own diplomacy skill in a tense situation, yet so fitting. I'm looking forward to more commentary from it (hope it gets a name or a nickname), and I'm very excited for the mystery behind it coming to life as well.
