Gosh, I love how this show introduces Queen Hiling (healing? I see what they did there...) as this Cersei-evil-queen-regent-step-mother-type, but then quickly makes her understandable. Not "good"--it doesn't make excuses for her treatment of Bojji--but more well-rounded than we thought. Her jumping out the window to try to save Bojji is such a good moment. Also, I forgot how sick that mini-fight between Apeas (spear guy) and Bebin (snake guy) was. Animation randomly goes hard in this show lol

The king dies, smoke monster cloud devil dude shows up to be a sassy bitch, there's kind of a soft coup, there's a failed assassination attempts, we apparently have giant hydra snakes, kage gets disappeared, the queen has layers and will literally jump from a window to try and save Bojji, healing magic is a thing. And like none of it felt rushed. It all seemed to roll out so cohesively. This show is so good and i definitely think more people out there should watch it. I'm excited to see what you all think about the rest of the season ^_^
