The process
Added 2023-11-17 09:09:04 +0000 UTCSo, when I'm working on my ASMR audio, it usually starts with me sitting down at my PC. I like to keep things immersive, so I close my eyes and use a lot of hand gestures while I'm recording. It's all about creating these tales on the spot, you know? And, of course, I try my best to avoid picking up any unwanted sounds like my chair squeaking or seagulls in the background.
As I record, I'm also doing some on-the-fly editing to make sure the final product is smooth and entertaining. I don't want to compromise on that front.
The next day, I might dive into creating some artwork for the thumbnail or the video itself. Then comes the crucial part - I listen to the audio a few times, putting myself in the shoes of the listener. I want to make sure the experience is just right.
After that, it's time for the post-production work. I edit everything in Adobe, adding in sound effects and the video component. This part tends to take the most time, but it's worth it for final result.
Once everything is good to go, I upload it to YouTube. But it doesn't stop there. A few days after the upload, I circle back to add the thumbnail and any other finishing touches. And, you know, I'm usually juggling a few audio projects at once. Keeps things interesting!
It's a process that involves a lot of steps, but I find it's worth it to create content that I'm proud of and that my audience can really enjoy.

On the spot, on the fly - catching the moment of the vibe you having without thinking too much of where and when or what comes out. That's how you making art I would say.
