You need to use node grabbing. Clicking the blue trigger will release the hook, or connect it to the storage place. If you want to connect it to the wheels of a towable vehicle, grab the end node of the hook by pressing ctrl and mouse and choose the wheel node to connect it. There is a documentation about node grabbing on Beamng website.

I just want to start by saying this is the first patreon i've ever paid for and your mods are well worth it! But how do you use the hooks on the rollback? they don't stay "in hand" like say a t series dolly. and they automatically revert to storage position within seconds. i was enjoying this one alot until i tried to use the hooks couldn't figure out and now my brain just can't let it go. So please help. thanks in advance.

These bindings can actually used with analog as well, I use thr crane with joystick, works perfectly, you just have to set it up properly. It has been asked before and always has worked. Yes you need to use dead zone on both ways 55-60% and check the inverted axis box on other direction. If you cant get it to work, message me privately.

Also it would be interesting if there were some sort of camera view locked to the crane/rotator! :D

Hi, I absolutely love your mods. I recently purchased a Thrustmaster SimTask FarmStick to be able to more easily control the crane and wreckers, however, I'm having some issues. Since there are separate bindings for both directions it doesn't seem to be possible to correctly map both bindings to an analog axis. I thought I would be able to get away with it by setting deadzones so that for example left on the joystick is the deadzone for rotate clockwise and vise versa but that isn't working either. I know it's likely no one else is requesting this but would it be possible to add additional bindings for axis controls for things like rotating the cranes/rotators, crane/rotator - up/down, and crane knuckle up/down? Edit: Moved comment from demo to full pack thread. Interested in hearing your input!

Its probably too big and complex for for current Beam physics - most people would find it unplayable because of bad fps.

You should make the century M100 (100 ton rotator) I think it would work awesome on maps like Utah and Italy where you’d be doing road/mountain recovery

This recent game update messed something up. Every time I spawn a vehicle from this mod, it says error loading vehicle: ' us_semi'. Possible reasons are broken or outdated mods. or corrupted files. when the vehicle loads in it can't drive a the doors flap open and the bumper comes forward

What is happening exactly? Is it spawning but bindings don't work or what. Dou you also have the demo installed? Remove this, If you have the full package already. Are the correctly installed in the "mods" folder? Also try unpacking it from the mods menu with the unpack button. Also any older version should be removed.

I also reinstalled your T-Series pack, and it still doesn't work as of 0.36. For reference. I'm using the 50/60 rotator 4.

Is there a chance that you will add joystick/axis controls to the crane? Having separate controls for left/right up/down, instead of being able to assign an axis is a bit buggy and causes issues with the controls

Adding a free spool to the winches isn't as simple as just adding something. This would mean entire new winch system with lots of LUA coding, that may or may not work good with the regular Beam updates. Currently it is kind of safe bet - that it works, because the current system is something that is already being provided by Beam. The only downside is that there is no free spool feature. So I'm not saying that this feature will not be there at some point, but currently this is not a priority.

Have you seen the trucks where the foldable crane is mounted at the rear of the bed? Then if they have a trailer, they can use the crane for both?
