'Find the Flame' - Final Fantasy XVI Fanart

A tribute to Final Fantasy XVI that I've been picking at for a few weekends. I watched my partner play through the game recently and fell in love with it SO much harder than I was expecting to. The music especially slaps, this track and the sequence it backs goes so hard and was the sole driving force behind this.

I'm pretty happy with how this whole thing turned out. There's a handful of things I wish I'd done differently but that's the case for every piece. I'm just happy I started with a specific vision and ended up exactly where I wanted to without getting lost along the way. I wanted to capture a feeling of explosive grief- I'm not sure the grief part came through as strongly as I wanted but maybe that works in its favor.

I really recommend XVI if you haven't played it. Its highest highs blow just about everything else I've ever seen in games out of the water in terms of sheer spectacle. The hype goes so crazy.
