October’s postcard is here!! Just in time for the air getting crisp and the pumpkins coming out. I truly wanted to indulge in the mood of the season, so I went as full spooky kitsch as I could.
My fantasy for this illustration is of a young woman, lonely and alienated in her misty town, who falls in love with a name on a gravestone, and spends her evenings writing love letters to the imagined ghost of the lady who lays there. (Or perhaps, not so imagined?)
October’s postcard will go out to Crow Collectors and Raven Dandies around the middle of next month! I’ll do my best to get it out quickly, so that if the postal service behaves well, it should arrive to almost all US patrons and many international patrons before Halloween.
