Good morning, Blackbirds!
It’s been a little while since you’ve heard from me, and I apologize for that! Currently, I am packing my little house to move once again: This time, to Providence, RI! I appreciate your patience, but as ever, I’m keeping this circus act going in the middle of the tempest!
Early this month as I was prepping June postcards, I made a nightmarish discovery: My final two boxes of MBPS envelopes had been ruined by the humidity, and were unusable. I placed an order for new envelopes immediately. Although all June deliveries of the Anise & the Devil postcards are packed, I have to wait on the new envelopes to arrive before I can stuff them, stamp them, and send them out. They will go out no later than the 29th as long as the printing and shipping estimates prove accurate, but goodness knows that’s later than I like! Thank you very much for understanding the delay!
Likewise, as I will have to completely refresh my supplies when I move, and be careful not to order things too early lest they arrive at a house I don’t live at yet, July’s deliveries will also be a little delayed into the month, but hopefully we’ll be back on track for early-in-the-month deliveries by the end of the summer.
What IS the July delivery you ask?
Voilà! This month I’ve been working on a postcard design after Georges Léonnec’s Centaur Kiss or “The Ride”, created for La Vie Parisienne!
I’ve also given a little teaser about my intentions for August’s postcard over on Twitter!
Thank you very much again for coming along on the bumpy journey! If any of you are waiting on DM answers from me, especially concerning things like address changes, they have been seen and noted, even if I haven’t had time to answer yet! As a blanket statement: If Patreon is being cantankerous about your address change, it is a good idea to let me know, and it’s an even better idea to keep pestering them until they change it properly. I can handle manually updating someone’s address one time, but I can’t realistically handle manually updating dozens of addresses every month. Thank you!
