This month has been a blur. So I took off travel for the month to catch up on photo editing, get my taxes done and prepare for dragcon.. so far I've done quite a bit of photo editing, done a decent amount of sewing for dragcon, and have avoided my taxes like the plague, lol. There is still so much to do! I'm guessing y'all are wondering what the photo above is about. Her name (for now) is Camille. I put an application in for her at a cocker spaniel rescue knowing she was not supposed to be available until mid-April because she had puppies. Apparently she had problems nursing so they had to wean the babies very early and went ahead and got her spayed. Friday the dog rescue came to do the home check and brought her for my partner and I to meet, and then after arrival said "if you would like to test foster her, she's ready to go.
We've already placed the puppies" (they're 6 weeks). So, totally unprepared and unexpected, we ended up with a dog 6 weeks early. So far, all she wants to do is play with squeaky toys and sleep in a bed. From what I gather she has been a backyard breeding dog her entire life. Although she is mainly cocker spaniel, I suspect that she might be mixed with something, perhaps a dachshund. Her colors are unusual for the breed and she's quite small. Wish us luck! It feels strange to do a doggy-test run. I really was not planning on getting another dog this quickly since I'm still healing from losing Bug, but hopefully, fate works out well. Camille has some separation anxiety and dog aggression, so I'm probably going to have to work with a dog trainer to break her of bad habits. She has bonded to me very quickly, following me from room to room, she's like my shadow. Regarding patreon, I'm so excited to reach my goal this month, welcome back to returning patrons, and hello to all my new ones! I hope everyone is happy with the content I'm releasing. I'm so proud of all the art I put out on here, It represents such a strong part of what I want to be remembered for as an artist and model. Anyway, it is late so I'll talk more soon.
