Hey everyone!!
I'm so sorry I've been absent, but my 8 day trip to Florida was quite a doozie. I had very little internet connection, so now I'm trying to play catch up. For my upper level members, check your dropboxes, I just added another photoset for the month!!
Anyhoo, the day before I left on my trip to Florida, my main credit card got stolen. This sucked pretty hard, because all of my auto-billing has been failing for over a week and everything on the card had issues (rental cars, etc). I think I'm in the safe zone now though *crosses fingers*
I had a 2 day shoot in Orlando with Titania that cancelled last minute, so we ended up going to Busch Gardens for a day, and then visiting my family the next few days. I played on a jet ski and went to a sleezy karaoke dive bar (that's about all there is to do in Florida), so the family vacation was a success! Make sure and look for my snap chats next month for me attempting to ride the jet ski, lol.
On Thursday Titania and I made our way to Orlando to work Megacon. There were definitely some snags, but overall, we had a lot of fun. That Friday we dressed as Patsy and Edina from Absolutely Fabulous, and acted absolutely ridiculous. We set up some of our cosplay costumes for sale, and got to represent our biz, 2 Girls, 1 Closet (www.2girls1closet.com). The second day I dressed as Harley Quinn to promote our "build your own Harley Quinn" costume display, and that Sunday I went as pin up Pee Wee Herman which was awesome and so much fun as always :) Definitely one of my favorite cosplays.
I took a red eye home so I could get back in time for some of the Memorial day parties and cookouts that friends and family were having.. I attended two parties but was SO exhausted. I ended up crashing really hard once I finally laid down.
Now I am distracting myself with work, because otherwise I start to freak out about my birthday on Sunday. I need to mentally prepare for it, but I just feel so down about getting older. Every year I get really depressed about birthdays and aging. I didn't choose a career path that is particularly kind to women as they get older. I hope y'all still love me <3
Anyway, I'm going to hop off of here. The photos above are a good throw back to a shoot I had with Renee Jacobs a few years back. Lovely black and whites.
xoxo
