This month has been a doozie!

Oh my, this month has been overwhelmingly busy!

I started the month off by going to Arizona, working my butt off there for 5 days - including at the Arizona shootout, coming home, getting slammed with photoshoots, and hiding under my covers after the election. I didn't get to hide for long though, because I booked a week in Texas.

On my first day I got to Dallas. I had the morning off so I went to a few shops- Dolly Python, Buffalo Exchange, Curiosities.. I picked up a few Christmas gifts for family members. I also picked up a vintage Sheik condom tin for myself to add to my always growing collection of unusual antiques, oddities and sex history items (remind me to tell you all about that sometime!). I did a workshop which was fun but relatively uneventful. The next day I got to do a pretty fun photoshoot as a political commentary to the theme of the show Laugh In. I was body painted with quotes all over my body. Make sure and check out next month's snapchats for some of the behind the scene shots from that! That photoshoot went pretty late which wasn't ideal because I had to drive 240 miles to Austin Texas afterwards! From here, my shoots are a bit of a blur. It was literally sunrise to sunset work the rest of the trip. I know I had a spare 2 hours to wander through Austin and visit one of my favorite shops called Uncommon Objects, but the rest of the time I was just working like mad. Workshops and projects and pinups etc. By the time I got to Houston I think I was just on robot mode. Pose.Smile.Pose.Smile. Fortunately my very last shoot sorta snapped me back out of it. I did pin ups on the USS Houston and I absolutely loved the location, the weather, the costume (I brought it, but it was the first time I'd worn it), and the photographer's wonderful attitude. Thank goodness, a breath of fresh air! That night I hopped onto a plane back to Los Angeles.. and got a huge reminder that flying 48 hours before Thanksgiving is a terrible terrible plan.

Fortunately, I was so happy to be home that I was forgiving of the exceptionally awful traffic. I crashed hard, and immediately started preparing for Thanksgiving the next morning. I went to my man/boy/lover's home for the holiday, and did some of the cooking (stuffing, dessert). It was SO awesome to stuff myself full of all the most unhealthy foods possible (turkey, stuffing, potatoes, bread, yams, pie, pie, pie.. and my fruit salsa).... Until I went home later and stepped on the scale. *insert sad face here* On the plus side, now I'm back in the gym, lol.

So I've been quite busy all month, but thank you all so much for helping me make my trips and being part of my journey! I did a lot of photography in Arizona, and I'll be sharing everything with you all soon :)

I suppose I'll end this here, but I wanted to post some images. These are by Bart (that's all he wants credited, lol), but I thought it was just a stinking cute photoset. I called it the redneck bathtub series, haha!

I like the use of the wheelbarrow here. It looks like it blends in with the plants surrounding it a bit. Cute outdoor bathtub setup.
