Okay, so. FlirtyFetishes: BDSiM once was different. Yes. The Traits were not exclusive of each other based on Dominant Roles or submissive Roles. Remember that? If you do, wowowow, you are such a loyal little pet.
So for example, one Sim could have the Demaning Trait AND the Masochist Trait. A Sadist Sim could have the Degraded Trait. Or a Sim with the Submissive Trait could also have the Demeaning Trait, Degraded Trait, and you get the picture.
However, I began reading others' suggestions about adding my BDSM Traits to WA so they could be randomly applied to NPCs. But, there could be an issue with some Sims having both roles, such as Demeaning and Degrading. And this could take away from the fun for some players.
Therefore, I made the Traits exclusive of each other within their respective roles. And I added the Switch Trait in hopes of balancing this change.
Nonetheless, I received some backlash when I made this universal change to my mod and some did not like it. I still get questions about creating the ability for the BDSiM Traits to be available to all and any Sims.
My concern is how tedious this could be with randomly adding in Wicked Attributes. I also wonder if I could create a way to make it easier for everyone so NPCs could have either/or, and/or, both, all, none, yes, no, and everything and anything in between the way you, the player, prefer it.
So which would you prefer in general?

I'm speaking about the BDSIM Traits, like Degrading and Demeaning, not roles.

2024-03-28 12:22:12 +0000 UTCPersonally, they don't seem to make much difference in game play beyond labeling. The D/s roles don't affect the WW animations accessed by the sims (or do they?). subs don't autonomously stay close to their Doms or ask how to please. There aren't dialogs boxes that clearly define the roles and/or have appropriate, defining responses. They do have a collar that disappears when they change clothes. I'm wondering if this is more about game design than D/s and thus lost on me.

2024-03-27 18:17:46 +0000 UTCWhen you say the Switch Trait unlocks both, are you referring to both as in the Dominant and Submissive Traits, or all the Dominant Role type and submissive Role type Traits??

2024-03-26 15:06:11 +0000 UTCI like they way it is, because it is neat and clean and I don't mix things up accidentally. But - if it is possible, maybe both is possible via the Switch Trait? Like if you want both you have to take the Switch Trait and by doing so it unlocks both options and without the Switch Trait you just can choose either the Dom-path or the sub-path?
