Considering dragon lore of Inheritance. Saphira here looks like she is her Carvahall leaving size. This does change their cuddle scene if its how she cuddles with her rider. Later. I think the only difference is that there is grass and snow since it is suppose to be winter while she is growing up from egg to 3 months old.
