SFW Gojou Satoru Dessert Cookbok piece
Added 2023-03-16 22:44:03 +0000 UTCHey all, before I come with Megumi art and since I'm going to post this on twitter to help sales, I thought of sharing an early access of the art piece I made for "Pour Some Sugar On Me", a Gojou Dessert Cookbook + some of my process until the final result! The cookbook has some pretty tasty looking desserts, and I loved the theme from start bcs who doesn't like sweet treats, am I right? (Megumi doesn't)
Anyways this was my first cookbook project, and I did my best to draw a nice and fun prompt hehe I love to draw seasonal illustrations and found this would be a cool thing to explore when it came to desserts as well (hence the assortment of cold sweets I made for Gojou lmao) I hope they look tasty and that you guys enjoy it!

Aw dude, I love the analysis sm! Indeed Gojou has a lot of weight to carry on his shoulders despite purposely looking so carefree and in such a good mood. It's an extra treat to see him truly enjoying himself and his fave food, and now I'm extra happy I had this idea! It's no surprise nowadays I wanna fix some details (😂😭) but I'm happy you like how I draw him!! I honestly should do it more 🤧 The crab comment LMAOO 😂😂 Thank you sm Z ❤️❤️❤️

At the time you first created it and published through the zine, I don't think I could've fully appreciated the mood. But now, knowing Gojou Satoru a lot better, the atmosphere is even softer. Gojou doesn't get time to relax, he doesn't get time to be normal, and so of course the minute he can actually go enjoy himself at the beach he would plop down in the shade with as many sweets as he can find--MORE THAN HE CAN EVEN EAT, since those popsicles are melting LMAO. I KNOW YOU DIDNT INTEND SOMETHING SO DEEP but it makes me feel like this is a time when he can recapture the carefree childhood he never quite got to have. Ofc, you always hae such beautifully rendered food!! my favorite unsung hero is that key lime pie in the bottom right. I also like the ridges in the highlights on the ice cream! just like how when you scoop them out of the carton. and ofc i love love LOVE how you draw Gojou. You always make him look so boyish and bright-eyed. He's really very close to how Gege draws him, but ofc in your own style. You can just look at him and go, Ah, Gojou Satoru. The most powerful sorcerer in the-- Shoutout to his ankle bracelet, wish that were me, hugging his foot. AND THE CRAAAAAB idk if he's bringing the cherry back to gojou or if he's gonna fight him to the death. Thanks for posting this! A very sweet drawing.
