Next BQ Release will be Mid-August
Added 2018-07-30 01:00:00 +0000 UTCSorry, I just pinky-swore it'd be early August, but something personal's come up and I don't think we'll make it before mid-August. I wanted to get this out before the 1st so anybody who's not OK with this gets another chance to delete their pledge before they are billed again.
I really swear though, soon we're back on track and kicking ass. Try and not get too upset about the delays. Worst case and August turns into another joke (like July), we'll offer refunds again. We're not scamming you or anybody. There's still an awesome game coming out eventually, really, don't worry. Also remember that the Patreon is 1) for people to grab the awesome rewards once, and then, if you want, 2) to continue to support us for the heck of it. If you're unhappy about the pace, well, like I've said before: feel free to unpledge and then come back once something's actually been released. I really think this is the best for everyone's stress levels.

2018-07-31 04:51:08 +0000 UTCThe delays have been explained, everything (drinking, vacations, vacations from vacations) is more important than us patrons or the games. After 2 years of this I'm done. I enjoyed your earlier work, but with all the delays I kept reducing my donation. Even at 1 dollar half your "updates" come across like your giving us the middle finger more than an apology.

2018-07-31 04:45:35 +0000 UTCWe don't give a shit about the pacing, you kept us in the dark with little to no updates... That's why everyone is ticked off. If you're a game creator share some information about the upcoming updates, that's how game developers keep their people in touch.

2018-07-31 02:01:37 +0000 UTCBut, that out of the way, I concur with other people that said, that there should be more transparency, e.g. what work is scheduled for the week and how is it going along, what are problems, etc. Without that I feel cheated and the delays are not explained. I would be sad, but as is I am really thinking about leaving. I will wait and see if communication changes, ortherwise I will leave rather sooner than later.

2018-07-30 23:29:10 +0000 UTCI tried but my gut is telling me to jump ship before it sinks any more. Its sad because i see the talent but lack of content and update posts are my main reason for leaving.

2018-07-30 17:49:17 +0000 UTCI'm not upset about delays, I'm upset that you kept us in the dark for a month.

2018-07-30 15:31:29 +0000 UTCI have paused my patronage. I will assess the quality of the build when it releases, and determine if I wish to maintain from there.
2018-07-30 09:50:59 +0000 UTCThanks for the heads up, I will wait and see what happens in August.

2018-07-30 07:26:52 +0000 UTCNah, this has been too many too often. Quality product for sure, but you post excuses more than updates. You never post what has been completed, or even worked on. We have no idea if you just sit every week collecting a free paycheck all year, then spend a week making a game that has been in progress for the past 18 months. I have enjoyed the content, and may return. But for now, I'm out.
2018-07-30 02:43:09 +0000 UTCMuch better communication. Thanks.

2018-07-30 02:21:29 +0000 UTCIt doesn't matter to me how much I need to wait. I've seen the amount of love and effort you put into Re: Maid and CHIE. You people are immensely talented so I always look forward to what you make next. <3

2018-07-30 01:52:34 +0000 UTCI feel a lot of flack can be avoided if there's like some sort of routinely weekly update to give patrons reassurance that there isn't zero progress. Maybe a dot point post about what's been worked on over the past week. Personally speaking I think that would quell a lot of the backlash you get when you say there are delays because we can at least still see progress. Last post I was probably more aggressive than what would be called for so maybe constructive criticism is a better approach. I do genuinely hope things go better and we get to see more progress though. Stay strong
