Oddtober #4: Meat Puppet

Slowly, Sub-Lieutenant Hurst began to rise, then shamble toward his former compatriots, his body sagging under the weight of the passenger, pulsating as it fed on his ambling corpus. The whip-snap sound of particle fire accompanied flashes in the dim hall as Hurst's body was torn, the volley unprompted by First Lieutenant Blyse. Hurst kept moving, seemingly unhindered. He, or perhaps creature infecting him lifted his right hand, letting loose with several awkward shots from his officer-issued particle pistol. Most spattered harmlessly against the back wall or further shattered the already damaged containment tank, but one split the domed helmet of an enforcer, sending the agent reeling onto his back. From the shadows beyond Hurst's lurching form, a host of creatures similar to the first slithered forward toward the squad, their sucker-mouths rasping. Trotting backward to the nearest doorway, Blyse ordered a tactical retreat....

This is the fourth entry for our "Oddtober" event. Every odd day (up through Halloween), we'll be releasing some models following a sci-fi horror theme (all following a light narrative), adding them to the $5+ reward folder as we go. Today's model will require supports when printing.
