CRUXWORLD (a short primer)

Hey, friends.

When we revamped the CRUX: Universal Roleplaying rules, a lot of content got shunted onto the back burner so we could present a leaner toolset. All of that material has been reforming into Cruxworld, an example setting book that will either be available on its own or tagged onto the back of the universal rules. Attached here is a brief primer that goes over the content.

Those of you who have perused or played Wayfarer: Things Beyond Wonder will see a lot of similar themes, and that's because this is the new incarnation of that setting. Or, rather part of it, as the full game will eventually get its own CRUX treatment as Things Beyond Wonder.

Also, while I've got your ear, it feels like a good time to remind everyone that we'll be switching over to a monthly subscription model after this month wraps! This really won't impact any of you that are already pledged, except that the current tiers will be moving to "legacy" status starting August 1st, and won't be available to new patrons from that point. So, if you want to switch your pledge level to something that gets you access to the entire Ill Gotten Games catalog ($5 levels and above), do it now! Also, if you're at the $7 or $12 levels (which are left over from a previous business model from a few years back), you should switch really down to the $5 or $10 levels respectively, since its cheaper to be at those and you get the same rewards.

Anyway, lots of big changes and exciting stuff ahead, including a big drop right before the end of the month for those of you who get access to the reward folders!
