Multiverse Monday #136: Theo Belrose

Happy Monday, everyone.

Before I sculpted today's model, I rolled the character at random using the modern(ish) survivor generator from our WIP Apocanomicon project. Taking the rolls as they came, I got "Theo Belrose," (name from Behind the Name's random generator).

Theo is a 32 year-old marketing consultant (with the most ordinary attribute spread possible) who has recently taken up jogging. Theo is extremely self centered, and naturally distrustful of other people, but knows how to manipulate them into working toward his own interests. He happened to be out for a run when the Chaos Dragon invaded reality. Grabbing a sledgehammer from a construction site infested with chaos-mutants, he fought his way to the city hospital, where he's currently holed up with some other survivors.

Model prints without support in FDM, and there's a based version included as well.

Also, is anyone interested in using the generator to make some survivor characters? If so, we could share the current build (which is fully compatible with the Coils of Chaos rules that we just released the other day) and you could share what you roll up here on Patreon. Maybe we could sculpt some of the more interesting characters (backstories help) and include them in our upcoming everyperson/survivor sets? (Or at the very least make some of them in DesktopHero or HeroForge for our own table?) I don't know, just spit balling some ideas here. Let us know what you think.

I also think it would be fun to generate some characters and see what happens

I love everything about this, and would love to roll up some characters!

I'd love to use the generator!

I love gamecrafting and world building so I'm very down for this. My wife and I are loving the heck out of Pocket-Tactics so I'm currently working on some homebrew silly/outlandish factions with new abilities and keywords. A character building exercise could help spur more creative angles!

It would be fun! I'd love a crack ar the generator
