I am glad $30k EVs are available, but with leasing, they have been since 2023. Except they had all wheel drive, bigger battery packs and more range. I hope the leaf and bolt do well

I'm not in the market for either, but I am glad there are now new EVs competing at the $30k point, and not promising a reasonable car, but actually selling a $60k or more variant. Whether it's top end saturation, Chinese long term threats to existence or attempts to find a high volume vehicle, we're finally getting real cars for $30k ish even when the incentives are in the rear view mirror....
