This really marks a turning point for us before we make our final push to the Society Islands where we will prepare Delos to be hauled out and start in on this crazy new chapter of our life...When we think back on our time here in the Tuamotus, it really has been one of the happiest and most magical times for us in this whole journey. We will always remember this time in our lives, and each time we put out one of these episodes we keep thinking, ok this one is our favorite...it just keeps getting better and better out here π So here in our final days in Fakarava we intend to make the very most of this last paradise.

PLEASE Stay away from sharks at Hawaii and the Gulf of Mexico ........ they seem very agitated .... bite-y really ..... not to mention the Killer Whale Gangs attacking sailboats off Gibraltar. Even though we have only meet twice in Annapolis, one at the booth and once in the back yard. Your family has helped me through the loss of my wife, cancer treatment, sailing lessons and scuba certification. Now looking for my own boat. All because of episodes like this one. 2024-06-28 14:33:37 +0000 UTCTime to watch! My, my, we had a large groupers of sharks or did we have large group of groupers? Well, I saw many sharks, both large and small. I don't think any were short or tall. One thing that has to be done is to get Sierra a good small kid's face mask so she can easily see the under water creatures. I don't know about SCUBA for such a young person but WOW if Sierra could do that! : - ) I am very happy that she has learned to swim on her own. Can she do that with out having flippers on? My father, who was in the Navy, taught all us kids to do the back float the very first thing in swimming lessons. I think that is what the US Navy teaches to new recruits as well. Good for them, so good probably for Sierra.
